You roam around Daily Paul so I hope you read this. I want you to win, you support the principles of Liberty and Freedom, that is clear. However, I worry, from the videos I've seen, that you come across a little too intense, a stoic-intensity, like that of an Alex Jones.
I'd work on friendly emotion, speaking like the every man, don't change the message buddy, but if you watch Ron Paul speak, he doesn't sound like military drill sargent.
Best of luck to you, I'm just the first of my critics you'll encounter. I'll be of age to run for congress in a little over a week, perhaps I'll join you one of these days.

Besides the fact that everyone is different and everyone likes a different personality, I don't think he should change anything about who he is because this is one of the problems with our current political system.
We've become accustomed to voting based on character and image. Obama is a celebrity and he was elected because people loved his character and fake message. Hence, we keep electing fake people.
So, yes, if RJ toned it down a bit it may help win over the general dumbed down public. But we simply don't need to do that anymore. RJ represents the type of politician and the type of movement that we need. I've said this before, we need a George Washington!
Ron Paul came off too weak and too timid, this helped to make his "character" appear to be that of a poor leader to the regular joe. Paul is great, but I think if he had the fire that RJ has, he may have won.
Certainly, I'd love to see the neo-cons come at this guy with questions about Iraq. I think RJ would smash down their comments in a nutshell. Paul shut them down, but he didn't do it with enough force.
Can you imagine what it'll be like to see RJ on C-Span smacking down these bogus bills. While Paul does a great job, RJ will simply come off firm and to the point. We need someone like RJ (George Washington) to back up our Thomas Jefferson (Ron Paul).

income derived from those privileges is not the problem.
Millions of people cowering in fear and filing and remitting payments to the government as if such tax applied to them when IT CLEARLY DOES NOT
IS THE PROBLEM.
Such mindless and stubborn refusal to acknowledge or even look at the truth has created the presumption in both the courts and the bureaucracies that EVERYONE owes the tax just because the IRS says so.
Sorry, that dog wont hunt. A tax is only owed if the LAW says so, IRS interpretations be damned. The Supreme Court has ruled not once, but TWICE on the question of the 16th amendment and the power of Congress to tax and what exactly is income.
They have stated unequivocally that the 16th amendment gave Congress NO NEW POWER of taxation, and that the amendment merely clarified that "income taxes" are indirect excises, and NOT direct taxes.
They also stated unequivocally, that the 16th DOES NOT authorize a tax on a salary or on wages, and that Congress has NO POWER to define "income" to mean anything OTHER THAN what it meant to the voters at the time of the adoption of the 16th amendment - which is the same definition it had in the 1909 CORPORATE TAX ACT - meaning a gain or profit derived from the exercise of a government privilege.
Exchanging your labor for money is not a privilege, it is a matter of common right, which the courts have also repeatedly stated.
So why the hell do you keep insisting on paying a tax you do not owe and then bitching about the evil government? STOP PAYING if you don't owe it or shut the hell up.
Don't fall into the trap of believing government actions are leading to socialism. We are on the verge of becoming a fascist state. Socialism and fascism are both forms of government in which the government has complete or extensive control over the lives of its citizens. The difference is under socialism government operates the institution. With fascism property ownership is permitted however you do not retain control of the property. The government can order you to use your property as it desires. In other words, GM can still be owned by its shareholders as long as GM produces the type of cars the government tells it to. Don't do what the government wants and it will change the owner/head of the company. Government leaders know socialism will be met with resistance thus they keep saying we don't want to nationalize the banks, autos or whatever. With fascism, most people do not even realize their rights are being eroded until it is too late.
... but if I hear the Lux Aeterna or its remixes on another damn youtube video, I'm going to vomit. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a beautiful piece, but it sort of ruins the flavor when you see it on every other dramatic video on the net.
Honestly people, change up the soundtrack once in a while.

If you were refering to "Von Mises", here's a link that will take you to any number or articles where Ludwig Von Mises speaks on the subject of government taxation.
Ill pass that along to the supporter that made the video, maybe they will fix the typo. But we will leave the video up even if they don't fix it because I think most of the responses will be substantive and positive even with the typo:)
