This is tossing the people a biscuit. Every officer who stood by and watched without stepping between the baton-wielder and his victim needs FIRED. Every officer in that video who saw what happened, then did nothing to help the injured man needs FIRED. And they use the word "suspended" - want to bet that is with pay? He needs FIRED and PROSECUTED.

Claims they were "under fire" while they tried to resuscitate him. But then this video emerges of the bystanders tending the fallen man, no violence anywhere. Suprise, surprise.
I do not know anyone who advocates violence, except for some macabre reason, our politicians and law enforcement officials. I know some pretty rough folk, but they have never tried to start anything. I suspect any "violence" is started by the people who have a history of using violence. And lying about it.

i have a friend - a medical student - or WAS a medical student - come up from houston and meet with some of his other friends in deep ellum.
i was not there.
they came out of a bar - and police harassed them for it.
so.....it's legal to sell alcohol - and legal to buy it - and legal to go into a bar - but don't fucking DARE come out of the bar if you've had any....
yeah...anyway....
so one of them gave some lip to the officer fucks.....and most of them were arrested for public intoxication.
while in the holding cells in downtown dallas - this was in the last three years or so - my friend, while handcuffed from behind - was taken out of his cell by the po in front of all his friends to see - and tripped by the po.
he fell face first into the concrete floor - without the ability for his hands to catch or break his fall - the force of impact breaking his jaw and knocking out most of his teeth.
then the fucking bloody po po drug his body, face bleeding across the floor.
my friend is no drunk.
and not a street walker.
he is from an affluent family that my parents have know since the 1960's.
well behaved and never in ANY trouble at any time for anything.
he made straight A in houston until this happened and he could no longer attend his classes.
dallas is extremely racist.

I blame the communists who were there protesting, demanding a world currency and world government and free everything. They are the cause of this.
Cops are brutal everywhere, have been doing this for years. They don't care who is doing what, anyone is fair game, even someone walking home from work, who was obviously not doing anything wrong.

I never said they had no right to protest. They were setting things on fire, breaking storefront windows, and overturning cars. I don't call that peaceful assembly do you?
I was hardly dismissive of the police brutality...and even cited more examples of them grabbing someone who was easy prey to club them; that is, if you read my last sentence without knee-jerking a response. And I certainly did not say I was OK with brutal cops and don't see how you deduced that from the comment.
My points again: Innocent people are hurt by this behavior. Some people are fully invested in the idea in world government and government control. Class warfare has been stirred up to incite these feelings against regular people who have worked hard and own something. The real 'rich' who should be protested are the bankers and superrich elitists (no one any of us know personally that's for sure) who are running our country now... you know people like Soros, Rockefeller and the 'foundations' and other NGOs who influence the government unduly.

No one should think that these Commie protests that SUPPORT the goals of the elites are good. Also, the actions of one cop who made a mistake are kind of irrelevant and small compared to the actions of our political elite. People who get worked up because one cop makes a blunder like this are getting distracted away from the real target of our ire. I mean, how could the cop guess this guy would have a heart attack? The young cop probably thought he was intentionally getting in their way, which it kind of looked like at first.

What I am saying is, it's the leftists who espouse violence that make it hard for anyone to assemble peacefully and protest which is everyone's right. Just looking at what the leftists plan to do on April 15th to make it look like the freedom movement is violent is very telling. I have never heard anyone from 'our' side plan to disrupt and fake violence for the other side have you? And I am still baffled that these people would be protesting to ASK for higher taxes, more government control of our econony and a world government, when that is exactly what was being done on this embarrassing trip that Obama made to the UK.
And thus innocent people, even if they are drunk which is not a crime I don't think, who are walking through an area like that are clubbed. This poor man was a victim of violence that he apparently had nothing to do with, thanks to the actions of others.
Don't forget I am old, VERY OLD, and I saw people on bicycles grabbed and the same thing done to them on their way home from work as well as several students SHOT to death for running through a campus, again those people were caught in the middle of leftist violence. I just hate to see anyone defending these people. We know cops are club happy...which is why we are careful. Have you ever seen how we deal with out of control cops here in NH? They were NOT asking to STOP the spending, the socialism, the giveaways of sovereignty to the IMF, but they were asking for MORE of it. They were asking, according to their signs, for more control of the private sector, for world currency, world government, and the end of capitalism. Is that what you support? I don't think so.

Violence will come but it will start with overzealous law enforcement people who have been fed a load of crap about who the enemy is. They will be told they are the thin line between anarchy and order. They will be told the demonstrators are evil. They will be told either us or them.
In every war, the enemy must be demonized to remove the guilt and most importantly any resistance. I would love to see postings from our solders in the Third Army as to what they are being brainwashed with right now so they will be effective tools of order, New World Order that is.
We either vote good people into office starting in 2010 or we will see a whole lot of this stuff happening. Ballots or bullets the choice is really ours, either way we can do this but peaceful revolution is always preferred.
