Vets: A new assault on your second amendment rights?

http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/04/09/obama.vets/

I have been on here urging people to refuse to allow their heath information to be documented electronically. Well, Vets will have to chose between being part of the database for the grand experiment, or paying for their own healthcare.

"Their electronic records will transition along with them and remain with them forever," Obama said in remarks delivered near the White House."

That includes the diagnosis of PTSD that you are likely to get when they check you about ten minutes after you leave the battlefield. It does not matter that you may recover, or that your PTSD may not be so severe as to really be an impairment in the first place, It will be on your record, and you will be ineligible to have a firearm. That diagnosis will, as the man pretending he is president says, "remain with them forever."

Catch that delicious irony? They will finally LET you put down your weapon of war, then see if they managed to traumatize you at all, then use that trauma to say you are unfit to own a weapon.

Good news is...

It'll prove to be tricky: Medical personnel are reportedly under pressure to avoid PTSD diagnoses, so as to lower veteran's health care costs. They can't have it both ways, or can they?....

You ONLY

Have rights when you are willing to ASSERT THEM. How much more proof do people need?
