the coming ice age was the main worry. There were even discussions about covering the polar caps with black ash to collect solar energy. Crazy but at least that wouldn't require a multi million dollar clean up.

We need to start making the distinction from "we" to "they"
It is easy to talk about ourselves as a country and say "we do this" or "we do that" or "we are over there doing such and such"
But, it is THEY ( the corrupt individuals who have highjacked our country), who are the culprits.
THEY are robbing the middle class.
THEY are killing innocents in the name of "freedom"
THEY are destroying the foundations our country was founded upon.
"WE" are the ones getting screwed, and "WE" are the ones who care enough to try and put a stop to it before things get violent.
I hope my post makes sense. I am not criticizing you. I just feel it is important to separate "we" from "they"
When we say "they" it kind of takes some of the responsibility for these massive crimes off of our shoulders.
