**UPDATE: Baby News and New Pic from Dale in Oklahoma.**

"First off please let me thank all of you again for your outpouring of wonderful words and continued support through these very trying times. We have four children, and never once have we had any kind of medical problems, so this really threw us for a loop. I haven't been scared very often in my life, but this was definitely one of them.

You all know that our son was born six weeks early and had to be flown to OU Childrens Hospital in OKC. His lungs weren't quite ready for the real world. We understood that we would be there a few days, but that turned out to be a few weeks. As it turns out he also had a small to medium "hole in the heart" (CSV) that they were watching. Of course we didn't hear anything about this until we had been there over a week, and that really put a scare into us. I did some research and though it wasn't an extremely serious situation, there could be some reprocutions (sp?) in the future. I didn't come on and let everyone know about that update simply because your words and prayers were what we needed, and there wasn't really any reason for anyone else to burden themselves with worry. I couldn't tell you how many times I read through this topic...smiling...weeping..praying...but always coming away with a sense of peace in my heart that wasn't there before I snuck into the DP for some encouragement.

We had an appointment with the pediatric cardiologist today in OKC, and I'm happy to announce that all seems to be well. The hole has grown small enough that they can no longer hear a murmer, and it isn't measurable with their echo cardiogram machine..in fact the only way they know it is still there is because they can see where some (very little) blood is flowing the wrong way in his heart. You can imagine how elated we were to hear this. Not only that but he has gained over 2 lbs since he has been home. They couldn't believe how much he was eating and how much weight he has gained. I'm telling you breast milk is the way to go, and I honestly believe that is why our kids have been so healthy. Little Daniel just decided to join the revolution a tad bit early.

I have included an updated picture of Daniel and his 3 year old "Sister Hen" Maggie. I feel deeply that these two will be great leaders in our revolution some day. Maggie is hard headed, tough, smart as a whip, and yet as kind as they come. We all know the time is coming, and it may not be our generation that sees the SHTF, but through us, our children and grandchildren will learn to carry the torch that enables freedom to once again find us.

May we always see through our divisive nature, love one another, and focus on the task at hand..which is freedom and liberty for the future generations of precious little hearts like these.

"Baby Boy Gregory" has a name finally..We thought hard and we came up with the following..

Daniel Ronson Gregory

Daniel- God is my judge (and my favorite book/"character" in the Bible, besides the Big Man and His Son the Savior of humankind)
Ronson- Son of Ronald (my first name, that I don't go by)
Gregory- Vigilant watchman

I'm sorry that I haven't been able to update everyone sooner but we just found the Ronald McDonald house and the internet service that it provides. Daniel came about 6 weeks early, just like his big sister did. He actually weighed more than she did (5 lbs 14 oz vs. 5 lbs 2oz) but according to everyone, we guys just don't mature as soon as girls, especially in the lung area.

He is now off of the Oxygen, and is chowing down on miniature bottles (breast milk). He is doing great, but still no word about when we can go home, so we are just thankful that he is in such wonderful hands here at the University of Oklahoma Childrens Hospital in OKC. I couldn't ask for better treatment, or better people to have caring for our baby. We are staying at a hotel nearby and are on the waiting list for the Ronald McDonald house, though we may pass that up simply because I'm sure there are people with a much bigger need than we have.

Please continue to remember us in your thoughts and prayers, and I look forward to telling you all that we got to go home.

Again, thank you for your time, thoughts, and prayers. I truly believe in the power of prayer, but the most important thing for me to remember is that no matter what happens in life, I am to leave it in Gods hands, and His will be done.

Long-time DPers will know Dale. I received an email from him today:

"... "unnamed Baby Boy" decided to come into this world a little over a month early. Because of this his little lungs weren't quite ready, and after a couple of hours of observation the staff at Carl Albert decided we should medi-flight (sp?) the little boy to OU childrens hospital. He started breathing much better once in flight, and they actually took his oxygen off for most of the trip, though of course it was returned once they touched the ground.

He began doing much better once we got to OKC, and we can spend time with him constantly, which is nice. Christy called the nurse when we woke up this morning and she said that he was doing fantastic and that we will notice a huge change today, and that he rested very well last night. Sounds like he was tired from the activities also. I can say that this is the first time in a few years that I have slept solidly through the night without waking up, and Christy says she did the same.

I (we) still bust into tears every once in a while but my heart is not heavy and my faith will not waver. We put our little one in God's hands, and what a wonderful God He is..."
