Whether you like the controversial movie or not, it's a great way of turning people on to a lot of issues that aren't well known. Tonight I sat down 2 of my roommates and made them watch. I was really interested in their reactions more than the movie itself, because I've already seen it about 5 times myself. I found it interesting how they would laugh and make jokes when they where obviously getting uncomfortable with the inconvenient truth of it all. I definitely planted a big seed tonight. It'll only be a matter of time before I'm welcoming them to the movement.

I hear you but...
It is great issue spotting or problem identification which our socialist friends are great at. Eugene Debs, Upton Sinclair, Jack London...all were great at pointing out the truth about what was wrong in society.
When they get to the solutions part...they get it totally wrong.
Give your friends that grain of salt along with the Zeitgeist.
