Has anyone read this book on how to avoid IRS audits?

How to Beat the I.R.S. at Its Own Game: Strategies to Avoid--And Fight--An Audit by Amir D. Aczel.
At first I thought that the book was probably written by some snake-oil salesman. But I see that the author is a PHD in statistics and is an Associate Professor at Bentley College is Massachusetts. So sounds pretty credible.
