Committees of Safety Money Bomb - TAX DAY April 15th

Capt. John Parker turns to a minuteman on the Lexington Battle Green and States, "Sir, My powder is depleted, can you spare a bit?" The Minuteman declares that he only has enough for himself. As John Parker turns to another Minuteman for help, he takes a shot to the temple, laying him down, and he never gets to announce the order to shoot. The British overwhelm the colonial militia and squash the uprising.

The British and the King George retain control over the colonies.

The Revolution never happens and the founding fathers never write the Declaration, the Constitution or the Bill of Rights as they are imprisoned and many put to death.

This scenario of course never happened because the colonials banned together and fought tyranny on the ground, then designed the most perfect form of Government in the history of mankind.

The freedom movement is in need of munitions and this requires money.

The Committees of Safety is in need of powder to fill our muskets as we muster on the historic grounds at the "Battle Green" in Lexington MA.

“Sir and Madam, can you spare some powder, ours has depleted”

We are asking that all Patriots donate to the CoS on April 15th in order to restore our munitions in the fight against tyranny.

Please take a few minutes on "Tax Day" and donate $10, $15 or eve $17.75 to the cause. Thank you, Patriots!

They are an absolutely wonderful group, led by

Walter Reddy and Dr. Edwin Vieira Jr. - I donated to them and ordered Dr. Vieira's book Constitutional Homeland Security and the DVD of his presentation, "The Power of the Purse and the Power of the Sword." I think with those you fully understand what they are about. I know Dr. Vieira is researching the original colonial statutes for his legislation that is the backbone of their program.

Slap me and call me an idiot ........... but

you'll have to stand in line to do it!

My problem is I don't really get their website or what they are trying to do.. Maybe a mission statement or something would help. A synopsis on the Home page. I'm sure someone will enlighten me after this post but what about other new visitors going "Huh?". With Michael posting this topic it must be worthwhile and relevant. But:

Mostly I'm confused by this statement at the bottom of the Home page:
"Please Note: Feel free to bring a hand held video camera and share footage. Tripods and commercial filming of the event are prohibited without expressed consent from CommitteesofSafety.org"

"Tripods and commercial filming of the event are prohibited" ???

Is this a private or public event. Sounds public.

Isn't Lexington Green a PUBLIC Historical site. Is it private? CoS renting it or own it?

What about "any publicity is good publicity"?

Isn't this one of the very things we are fighting against?

Permits, Permits

"Tripods and commercial filming of the event are prohibited"

From what I understand that is a restriction placed on the CoS by the town of Lexington! Yes, Lexington Green is a PUBLIC historic site, but Cos still had to get a permit - and they nearly didn't get it. Seems the town of Lexington thinks that things like freedom and militias and fighting for freedom are quaint historical event s that have no relevance to today!

-------

What are they trying to do? Basically, to restore sound money at the state level. In order to enforce this, we need to revive state militias - not the National Guard, which is under Federal control, and not private militias, but militias under the control of the local government.

Thank You Michael

Thank you for DailyPaul too. I will donate soon.
Now that I know their goal it sound good to me. I would join.
Their website needs to state upfront what it's about. I clicked "about us" and got the distinct impression it was not about militias. I think I get it now. It's not about militias, it's about constitutional State Militias. I agree the time has come.

Campaign for Liberty should

Campaign for Liberty should post about this on their front page; that should easily be enough to get the remnant donations.

Have any press releases been sent out about this? If not, they need to be ASAP.

Good luck with that.

Good luck with that.

Bump for the CoS. Come on

Bump for the CoS.

Come on people! They need powder.
