are other candidates getting illegal donations?

For example, my home state of Rhode Island -- if you look through any of the media anointed, you'll notice the same individual repeatedly donating 2,300. Isn't this illegal?
To see the worst of this in Rhode Island in particular, look through Hillary's donations, because she's fairly popular here.
What accounts for these multiple maximum donations per individual? Is the government just letting this slide, or is there some explanation I'm not aware of?

It is legal to donate 4600$ per person if campaign gets
money for election and primaries.
RP's campaign doesn't.
$2,300 per Candidate
Hello Spires, you are allowed to donate $2,300 per candidate per election cycle. It is only illegal to donate more than $2,300 to the same candidate in the same cycle.
These types of donations are usually made by staunch Democrats or Republicans who are more concerned with their party winning than the individual candidate. Plus, if one of their party candidates does win, they can say they supported them (perhaps enhancing their own political position within their party).

yes, and they are violating this rule
For instance, three $2,300 donations to the same candidate in a row, from the same donor, listed on the FEC website. Just look for yourself.
I Believe You
Hi Spires, I don’t doubt what you are saying. Many of the so-called front-runners are set up to accept the general election donations as well as the primary funds. The Ron Paul campaign said they were not set up to accept general election donations yet.
But that only accounts for two $2,300 donations. You are correct that more than that is not allowed. The FEC should require the return of those “extra” funds. They have enforced this rule in the past, hopefully they will this time as well.

Illegal Campaign Donation
I guess if her husband could receive campaign contributions from China, she can receive multiple maximum contribution for the same individual.
We have all heard about how the dead tend to vote Democrat. Maybe some of them are donating from the cemetary, too.
It's not just democrats, either
Guiliani, Romney, all of the media-anointed really
I do see a bunch that have donated 2 or 3 times the maximum
Not something for us to deal with though
Multiple 2300s?
Do you mean to say that the same person is sending that over and over? They can't -- the campaign sees the people who are maxed out and returns it, with the message (I hope) that they can't donate any more.
well look for yourself
There's plenty of them that are listed like that.
rhetorical, right?
Is The Pope Catholic?
couldn't someone take offending campaigns to court?
If this is true, can't they be forced to return the donations?
Does a bear...
poop in the woods?
What about all that money the Clinton/media/military/industrial complex got from the impoverished people from China town?
etc
