GO for it

This would be a great idea.. Return to the private sector what all the Gov'Ts can not or will not do...A few CAPITALISTS could get the job done.

Great Article -Ron Paul is a thought leader on National Security

Wow... they didn't even make fun of him or cast his oppinion as fringe. The whole article seemed very supportive of the idea.

This will help people see Ron as a leader on National Security issues as well as economic. Good press.

Nobody's interviewing Mittens Romney or Michael Steele on the issue. I think it's becoming clearer who the real leader of the GOP is.

Ron Paul was just on FOX

Ron Paul was just on FOX news talking about this issue. He did great. I will watch out for the vid.

Its their problem

Why should us taxpayers pay in excess of 10 million dollars for a rescue mission of a private shipping company's captain that knowingly went into pirate infested waters with no protection to do their business?
Did the captain of that ship not understand that going there would be risky? I think not.
they should have to protect themselves, not private security firms paid for by our government(with our tax money) the shipping company should pay, and maybe put a bit of that responsibility on the people they are doing business with too... "make your waters safe for me to come do business with you, or we will go elsewhere." It might be more expensive to take another route, but not if you figure in the tens of millions of dollars it took to rescue that captain. The shipping company should have to reimburse us for that money.

I like Ron Paul news anywhere, but

with anti tax parties going on all over the Country, the media focuses on Ron Paul's suggestion on how to deal with pirates?!? Also, note that there is no mention of the tea parties.....hmmmm.

alan laney

the amazing thing is that he gets

heard now. sure, the Big Gov lovers will be all over this attacking him; but others are listening, starting to think a little.

BUZZED

It only makes sense to use something in the Constitution that applies today.

But of course the Libs will say only the Navy is capable of doing the job. Greedy companies, blah blah.

Very significant and important I think....

FIRST it is front page of Yahoo.... MSM of the internet. THEN it is from "Politico" which is pretty left leaning. I think he'd catching on folks. The sheeple must be a LITTLE bit sceptical of spending yet MORE money on yet ANOTHER US base on foreign soil or this would NOT have been mentioned. Very interesting. Let's keep our eyes peeled for more of this sentiment.
