What he probably wouldn't have expanded on is the fact that Bush is equally at fault to Obama. Bush expanded the powers of the office of president, he sharpened the blade that the executive branch wields, and he showed his replacement how to use a national crisis to justify trillions spent. The only valid question she would of had is where was Fox the last 8 years. Toting the party line. All of a sudden the Neo cons are out of power and Fox cares about the little guy. I love how they say that nobody was protesting the last eight years. No actually we were. The problem is that those protests don't count because they were not covered by the media.

Why didn't Cavuto respond that people are upset by the bailouts, the stimulus spending, the lack of transparency, and the inflation of the dollar through monetizing debt. You would think this clown never had RP or schiff on his show. I guess what they said never sunk in.

Also, when she started her b.s. about how Obama is delivering on his promises, why didn't he say wiretapping, habeaus corpus, patriot act, foreign prisons, Afghanistan, and more troops...

Libertarians have been doing tax day protests for years, long before the Tea Parties came along. Thanks for the credit, NOT!

I absolutely canNOT stand people like that chick. She's just like Keith Boykin or Robert Reich in that it's all about Rep vs Dem. They always fall back to the argument of 'what did Bush do the last 8 years'. I could give a sh**. I don't care if it's Dem or Rep. All I care about is "Are they supporting the will of the people?" and the answer has been NO for a very long time.

I wish we could impeach about 80% of Congress, throw these Bankers in jail, round up Paulson, Geithner, Bernanke and all of these other elite and try them for treason, and keep our noses out of other countries affairs

I disagree wholeheartedly with the content of her words, but it was wonderful to see her employ Fox's tactics (spinning the partisanship issue, focusing on the small points rather than taking on the bigger picture / spirit of the argument, and rightfully painting Cavuto as a flip-flopping crybaby who was "with it before he was against it") against Fox itself. Classic.

Instead of projecting your perceptions of why people are participating in these tea parties, why not go down to one and ask. Ask them what they thought of the last 8 years. I bet you'll be surprised that they probably didn't like it. And why do this now, 100 days into Obama's presidency? Maybe it's because we're realizing we're getting change, change accelerating the wrong decisions, and the next 1361 days are just going to be worse. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe they're hypocrites and just have sour grapes over a Democrat controlled government. Even that would be a great story! Much better than your arrogant editorial based on nothing but conjecture.

Just go to one and ask a few random participants questions. It's called reporting.
