Closed: Ready Made Resources Benefit Auction for DP - Fluoride Water Filter

Bob at Ready Made Resources, one of the Daily Paul’s advertisers, has come through again with a benefit auction to help pay this month’s hosting bill for the Daily Paul. Bob has donated a 4-filter Big Berkey water filtration system including 4 fluoride filters for auction

How the Auction Works
The full retail value of this package is $368, including shipping. Place your bids in the comments section below. The auction will end on Monday April 27th at 4:00pm ET. Once I receive the payment & address of the winning bidder (via paypal or certified check), Bob at Ready Made Resources will ship the filter out to the winning bidder ASAP. Last month Barbee was the winning bidder. She received the package & was very satisfied.

The monthly hosting bill for the Daily Paul is $325, not including additional programming services. Last month, because of the crash just before Easter, I ended up shelling out more to get the site back up & running again. Thank you to everyone who helped out with donations!

I was starting to wonder if it would make sense to bid myself.

I have a water filter, but I don't think it gets the fluoride out. I was at a hardware store this weekend looking at water filters. They didn't have anything like this there - just the standard PUR and Britta. But on the box, one of them said (I forget which one), "Does not remove beneficial fluoride." Ha ha ha. I burst out laughing, just like that in the store.

I think the clerk that was showing them to me thought I was nuts.
