A flood of protesters and total siege of Washington may be our only hope in stopping the destruction of our country.
The arrogance, disdain and disconnect of our elected officials has reached a dangerous point. If they continue to ignore the will of the people, then the people may have to force its will on Washington!
2-3 million Americans camped out at the capitol will get their attention, especailly when it becomes clear what the people really think about these financial terrorists.

I'm sorry, "Mr. Emerson"...but we'll just never have those numbers...even if we did, our "non-representing representatives" (per 'Thomas Paine') won't pay us any mind.
I work in retail, part-time. I use my opportunity with the public to constantly get folks thinking...I don't preach or force anything, I simply want them to question authority....ANYHOW....I am dumbfounded by the number of highly educated people (multiple degrees, masters, etc.) who firmly believe more government regulation is good, that Obama et al. are wonderful for the US, ....and worst-of-all, most of these brainwashed fools are devout christians (I know, because I have to stand there and get the sales pitch). These cool-aid drinkers seem to out-number those of us who can see the forest through the trees. Why were there not 1 million mad-as-hell citizens AT EACH AND EVERY TEA PARTY??? Because the media has done a better job at mind control than we have as educators. Because there's flouride in the water....because of Hannity, Beck, O'Reily, Madonna, Streisand and Baldwin. Because the scared, stupid animals that make up the vast majority of the US population truly believe that Big Brother has their best interest at heart and will take care of them.
I hate to say this, as I admire the participants of the Tea Parties and the message they tried to bring forth, but none of these types of actions will bring about anything but ridicule and scorn. Look at France: all highways plugged, public transport clogged, all government offices baracaded..all because of public outcry. Look at Tailand: MIllions in the streets in every major city, battling with police over the corruption and public outcry. I'll just bet neither of these nations has "Dancing with the Stars" on TV!! The sheep are distracted into apathy. Until we've got 15 Million marching on The Hill with torches and pitchforks, and the entire government cannot function because of no telephones, power, water, transport, etc....nothing will be notice or taken seriously.

DC will only continue to ignore along with MSM. Forget the top down idea. Instead, gather patriots to commit to weekly protest at your congressman's local office. Non-stop reminders of their support of all bailouts and other crimes against the constitution. That will gain local media which they worry most about for re-election.

Local media is the key.
Local media is the key. They are the most likely to cover any protests as they have to answer directly to their viewers or readers. Often, they also find themselves short on good news stories, so protests can easily make it onto the front page or on the nightly news. Also, the more local the media, the less likely it is to be controlled by the elites.
We have been trained to look to the federal government, but as libertarians, we should realize that our real power is here at home. We need to be strong, compassionate parents and teach good values and principles to our children. We need to become prominent leaders in our communities. Your biggest impact is on those who see you in the flesh on a day-to-day basis. The more face-to-face contact, the more influence you have.

and what all liberty loving, constitutionalists from this day forward should do without fail is that when ever msm media shows up we should as one turn our backs on them physically until they go away. Completely shun them like the pariahs they are. The media is supposed or used to be a protection for us and now they are our mortal enemies.
We are never going to get a fair shake from them, and sure they will play the little game of throwing us a tidbit now and then and then when a real good opportunity rolls by they'll crap on us like their sold out souls require.
Our local paper tried to interview me and in return I asked my standard question, can I have full editorial power and proof read before it goes to print?
And as usual she said no,and I said sorry because you usually twist thing and never tell the truth,bye... and this is what those bastards did the next day with a pic from the protest the next day front page...

Protests run their course. Cutting off funding for bad behavior on behalf of the government would be the only way to change things. You must move on to step 2 and quit repeating step 1.

Protests do nothing but stir the pot. They do not accomplish relinquishing of power. The only way to regain power usurped is by enforcing the Constitution - which is the duty of the State Governments - or revolution. (that is if the election process is rigged as it is here and in every other country)
What about the constitutional right to assembly.

9/12? What is significant about that date? Anyone want to fill me in. Thats the date we all became sheep. Why?

I just guessing here but if it's the Beck 9-12 project he picked that date because he said, people came together to help each other and unite after what happened and he wants people to unite in this cause of taking back America...you know like not infighting about petty stuff.
This is a good opportunity because now the cat is out of the bag about the Feds and the more people find out about these charlatans and their international cabal and that this is behind Obama's whole agenda, they angrier they get. But if people are doing nothing but sniping about who hijacked the message and other side issues, they will waste the opportunity to educate even more people.
I must have shaken 400 hands yesterday and it felt great because now people are listening because what we said was going to happen, happened!
We need to go on 9-12 to beg them to protect us from scary
terrorists. It's important for the usurpers of the movement to keep us thinking about scary terrorists; maybe if they plan events and organizations around it, we'll beg for a police state and maybe another war or two.
