An Open Letter to Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi
Dear Speaker Pelosi,
How DARE you get on TV and promote the pure propaganda that our tea parties were 'astroturfing' by 'some of the wealthiest people in America'?
I guess you ought to know really well just what astroturfing is, since Democrats are the "kings of astroturf" -- getting funding from Soros and the Foundations and the super rich bankers for all sorts of sinister causes from ACORN, to LaRAZA, to UNIONS, to MoveOn.org and other such phony non-governmental grassroots web organizations that influence our lives unduly.
And yet, you continue to promulgate the lie that we will all get a tax cut even after the dangerous policies of this administration are implemented while continuing to blame the last person in office.
Just the energy policies alone will cause energy prices to skyrocket and worse, Americans could be held hostage to a UN tax.
I personally helped organize a 4,000 person rally and I am sorry to inform you that no 'wealthy people' contacted me to ask me to do it, nor did anyone pay me to do it.
I did not get contacted by the RNC, the NH GOP, FOX or any other media outlet, EXXON or the Koch family, and I was not directed to do this from 'above' as you asserted.
By sending celebrities from FOX to do their shows at these gatherings, that network simply did a fair job by NOT censoring us as the other useless networks chose to do. They did what good reporters SHOULD do, and that is show up at an event they knew was shaping up to be something of this MAGNITUDE. To have NOT covered these at all is like a blatant lie intended to perpetuate yet another lie that this socialist Obama takeover is accepted by the majority of the people of this country. It is NOT.
Most of us are too smart to let the future of America be hijacked for a bribe now, of a mere $400.
Once again SHAME on you for promoting these out and out lies about these people with their 100% handmade signs, being directed 'from the top'.
You owe the grassroots a public apology for your remarks that smeared hundreds and thousands of us. We shall be waiting for it.

Pelosi's not very big on admitting when she's wrong. Like most autocrats, she holds the public in contempt, and probably can't imagine people acting on their own accord.
BTW, this was the second most offensive thing to come out of the congress in the last couple of months. The most offensive was Diane Feinstein's snotty little lecture where she claimed that the tens of thousands of people who'd contacted her office to oppose the first bailout bill "didn't understand" it.

What gets me is, while BHO is continuing many of the bad policies of the last administration, this quadrupling of the spending and deficit is going to bankrupt us, and yet when it does, I get the feeling it will still be "Bush's fault." At least Bush returned the tax cuts directly to people (like those making $40K with 4 kids). I don't call that "tax cuts for the wealthy", another mantra they have ingrained in people's heads. Their spending is simply the big payback as favor to those who put this creep in office -- Unions, ACORN, wallstreet and foreign bankers, etc.

robot - remember the pause and deer-in-the-headlights look when she said "500 million people" would lose their jobs immediately if we didn't pass the stimulus package? She did that TWICE. She REALLY needs the teleprompters!!

I was wondering..
.....where the heck these bots got their talking points -- they were parroting the same crap all over the internet today -- you know that it was astroturf, top down, big money, blah blah blah. Nancy has made an idiot out of these people. Now I know, because I heard her tonight on TV. And you know what else I learned from seeing the Alamo tea party? There were 20,000 people there....
In another thread we were talking about Governor Perry and his support of the state sovereignty bill they have there in Texas. This would be good if not for Perry's past history I said. So tonight there was a 3-person panel that was discussing this. The liberal said Perry went into the fringe, one conservative liked it, and another liked the bill but said what I said, that Perry is not popular and because he knows the bill is popular with Texans he's doing this for political expediency and is thus phony and not to be trusted.
So when Greta asked Beck about it as he was standing in front of the 20,000 people at the Alamo and they heard her say "Does Governor Perry really want to secede Texas from the union?" they screamed with delight! ALL OF THEM.
Now I can tell you this PROVES that group was not ordered to have a tea party from the 'top down' of the RNC as Ms Facelift claims. BELIEVE ME, 'secessionism' is NOT an RNC talking point!
(And there are some misguided dudes on here who think it's the RNC doing it to divide people which is also a crock)
The RNC chairwoman from NH is one of my best friends so I think I would know.
