Update: Last night several people on other channels called out the owners of MSNBC on how they could allow Olbermann to continue the conversation based on JG's assumption that ALL the tea party goers were 'racists' and that this was their purpose for gathering, with both marveling at how many racists could gather in one spot.
It used to be a powerful weapon but it is no longer working even though they have tripled their ammunition and making these accusations so extreme as to be absurd.
Heck if some of you wonder why your own mother thinks that you are 'dangerous' for fighting taxes, look only as far as these pseudo-news networks to see how they are being manipulated.

To respond to her and liberals like her, it is VERY important that you announce your intention to argue "Fairly" and that they should also argue "Fairly".
That should get you a yes. Your first YES.
Then go for the next YES. SO ask her, You are in favor of an "Exchange of ideas" are you not? There is your second YES.
Then next go for this angle...Tell her (and liberals like her) that if Bush defines those that disagree with him as Communists, then there really is not an exchange of ideas, is there? Its just name calling, is it not? There is your third YES.
Then say, in the same way, if those that disagree with Government Spending and Obama's Spending Bill as "Racists" by definition, then there really is not an exchange of ideas again, is there? Its just name calling, is it not? You may get your 4th YES, perhaps reluctantly.
Then make it easy for her to say YES. Then say, AIG receives billions in Spending, is it ok that I protest that on Tax Day? If not, what day can I protest this kind government spending and corporate bailouts?
Then tell her, the problem was that CNN and MSNBC allowed Faux news to FRAME the Tea Party as "Right Wing", which is was not. Many there are equally PISSED about Bush's Taxpayer Banker Bail-Out as they are Obama's massive Spending bill.
What is worse, you as a Liberal are also Framing this Tea Party, by suggesting everyone is Racist and "right wing" and from the "klan".

Today's post initiates a new award, Ignorant Twit Of The Week, to honor deserving persons who otherwise would never win anything. As it happens, the Tea Party protests held on April 15 produced a flood of candidates for this week's award. The commentators for various mainstream media channels jumped into early leads with a mixture of gratuitous insults, embarrassing sexual innuendo, and abject ignorance of the nature and purpose of the goings-on. But on Thursday, the day after the protests, a well-known purveyor of pseudo-intellectual claptrap, Keith Olberman, leapt into the fray, only to be outdone by his guest, Janeane Garofalo.
Garafalo, a comedian, bit actor, and former co-host for an unsuccessful Air America radio show, demonstrated such complete ignorance of the Tea Party protests that she immediately moved into first position. She clinched the award by defaming and insulting the protestors, throwing in a gratuitous accusation of racism to erase any doubt as to her qualifications as honoree.
