There is a better way.
Under Direct Representation, citizens have the choice to either vote directly or give their votes to a representative. Representatives have power according to the number of votes given to them. Citizens can rescind their votes at any time.
Direct representation overcomes the dilemma of “voting for the lesser of two evils” that plagues winner-by-plurality voting systems. DR also ends corruption by preventing "bait and switch" (politicians saying one thing, doing another and getting away with it).
Direct Representation provides answers to the two main arguments against direct democracy: 1) it is logistically impossible to bring everyone together in one place to vote, and 2) people don't have the time to research every issue
