Auto Makers To Install Kill Switch in Cars
I was listening to the radio the other night on the way home and the lady doing the show said that auto makers are going to start installing a kill switch in all new vehicles so that if you fall behind on your payments...your engine won't start.
This is mainly happening in "We Tote the Note" places but she said big auto makers are catching on and now some insurance companies are requiring that the auto makers install these.
My question is: If you fall behind on your payments and you are TRYING to catch up...how is cutting off your engine remotely going to help you catch up. If you cannot get to work, how are you supposed to work to continue making payments?

This is techno creep.
Start with a premise that sounds justifiable.
Get it passed, implemented and accepted.
Gradually expand it then mandate it.
Big Bro wants this and nothing to do with back payments.

pursued by a bank, they don't care. They don't care if you are homeless. if you owe them money they can, take your car that you own outright to settle a debt. They can come in and have an auction on your household items to settle a debt. They can put a lean on your property forcing your lender to foreclose on you requesting you pay off the loan immediately. They don't care if it's fair or logical. They run this country so this type of stuff happens. You would think a judge would step in and say wait, how will they get to work if you take their car, but they don't really care. They want us to be slaves to the system and be on the government dole.

It is really STUPID that people Finance a Car in the First place. Buy a cheaper used one. A car is something that should not be financed. If you have to finance a car for 5 years.
IT IS TOO EXPENSIVE...
Really Just buy a old car , Before they had Fuel injection, when they knew how to make a good car.
Their are plenty of good used cars. Just refuse to buy a new car, EVER.
Take care of your car and make it last 20-30 years.

Easy answer....
They don't care if you go into default. They just need that first note going. If you do default, a kill switch is a really easy way to make sure the repo guy has an easier go at it.
After all, if you default then it is just another bad loan.. one that you the taxpayer will pay for anyways in another bailout or tax.
As long as the vehicle can be put under another note as soon as possible.
We are needed only as weapons of mass consumption, after all... ;)
