The bill is called "S 604" or "Federal Reserve Sunshine Act of 2009"

It has been introduced by Sen. Bernard Sanders [I-VT]

Volcker wants the Fed gone

Volcker wants the Fed gone and he has at least the partial ear of the President. He feigned shock at the idea that the Fed could target 2% inflation and still say they wanted to keep prices stable( ergo 0%).
