SAT April 25, 09: END THE FED - Invite your lefty friends!

0 votes

I'm excited about Saturday's End the Fed rally. The forecast for Boston is for 81 degrees and sunny, the first day over 80 -- actually, the first day over 70! -- this year. Last time it was about 20 degrees!

There is little chance that this event can be accused of being "Astroturf." I haven't heard a thing about it on Fox news or any other corporate media outlet. This is a pure, self-organized grassroots events.

Therefore, I urge all of you to invite your friends on the left - the ones who are starting to look at you with fishy eyes like you're a terrorist for hanging out with the Fox news crowd. Let them see the face of the new "right wing terror" with their own eyes. Tell them it'll be okay - you'll protect them. One of my best friends, a NY Times-reading, CNN-watching, Paul Krugman-loving self proclaimed liberal is admonishing me to "be careful of the company you keep," based on what the corporate media is feeding him.

This tells me that there is a full-scale, high level political and information war being fought out in the corporate media. Average Americans are caught in the crossfire, and it is certain only to get worse. This is why I urge you to invite your friends and allow them to see who we are and what we stand for with their own eyes.

The media is trying to drive a wedge between us, based on manufactured, false divisions. Invite your friends so they can that we have more in common - that we're all concerned Americans, worried about our kids and our future, and about being ripped of by the banks and the government - than corporate media would have us believe.

The media is playing a divide and conquer strategy - pitting Americans against one another. The only way we can combat it is though personal contact and understanding. This Saturday, turn off the TV, shut down the internet, grab your friends and hit the streets.

And above all, have fun!

Feel free to download one of the above posters, print it off and pass it around. It is supposed to both get chuckles, and hit people in the gut. My friend Frank had big ones printed at a local shop for a few bucks each. Here is the .pdf version, and here is a high resolution Photoshop file if you want to do the same.

good luck today with the rally. The establishment of a central bank was one of the most important issues at the turn of the 20th century, i think almost 100 years of economic manipulation is enough. People are starting to realize once again how important this issue is..Abolish the federal reserve act of 1913!

Help!

Does anyone know if there is a Fed in San Antonio? Or do I have to drive to Dallas or Houston?

Anyone know what is going

Anyone know what is going with the San Francisco rally?

Here's a new catchphrase:

Federal Reserve System: The US economy's meth lab.

= = = =
"Obama’s Economists: ‘Stimulus’ Has Cost $278,000 per Job."

That means: For each job "created or saved" about five were destroyed.

Right.

We need not loose site of 833.

If Fox advertised and pushes it,

then the Left would try to label it a Fox News creation. But then of course then more people would know about it and more people would show up. This would bring on even more media coverage of it due to the sheer numbers of people that would be too large to ignore. However, since Fox hasn't announced that they're going to cover it, then a lot less people know about it than the Tea Parties and therefore a lot less people will show up. This decreases chance of it being a large enough story to report.

We can't be happy that Fox isn't associating itself with it because ff Fox doesn't announce/push it, then there won't be hardly as many people there and therefore less people will know about it. Then apparently some of us wouldn't be happy if Fox was pushing it as they did the Tea Parties because then they would claim the message is being hijacked by Fox.

So you just can't win can you?

Let's just admit we need the mainstream media as much as they need us.

Too small and you don't

Too small and you don't grow. You're preaching to the choir.
Too big and your ideas get swamped by other people's ideas.

So there's a good range of size.

But the right size is always large enough that you have people coming that are NOT yet converted. So you have to get, make, or buy coverage/advertising.

Make or buy is a lot of work up front and your newbie supply may be too small for effective growth. Get and your crowd may be too big - in which case you have to work REALLY HARD while the crowd is there to get your message out.

But as long as you can get your message out to the crowd, the bigger the better.

any coverage is good

any coverage is good coverage. We are the leaders, we have the knowledge, we can explain to the People!

End the Fed!

SLIPPERY SLOPE for yourselves

While I would like to see the end of the FED, I now believe we are falling into the NWO trap to get rid of currency altogether so tracking of ALL transactions can take the place of unknown cash deals ..There goes another hit to the less fortunate...
you-no

don't overanalyze and then

don't overanalyze and then do nothing. one thing at a time!

Good....it will let us abolish the Federal Reserve...

http://campaignforliberty.com
Then we can let the traitors keep exposing themselves & prepare to take down the Globalists.....

You should make arrangments to replay the interview

that Restore the Republic Radio just had with G Edward Griffin. Play it over the PA while people are gathering, very educational!

I'm not sure I agree about a plan to "divide and conquer"

unless you just mean trying to get more viewers in order to boost shareholder profits. This is by nature what the corporate media always does. It does whatever it can to get more viewers. CNN, Fox, MSNBC, and so on are competing for viewers. At this juncture Fox is winning the ratings war, and it also happens to be the network that's most accurately representing the Tea Parties. That's the market is working!

I say thank God for corporate media, because profits is what determines the programming content and who they hire to present the news and what opinions they push. This is how the media should work in a capitalist system, totally profit-driven to get viewers and advertisers. Capitalism, you gotta love it.

Yeah, but I'm alot less keen on Corporatism.

lefty friends?

How can anyone here have friends that are leftists or neocons?

It's easier to convert

It's easier to convert friends than enemies.

read carefully what I typed

standing together for a common cause doesn't mean they have to be my friends. If someone is a commie they most likely advocate stealing from the productive people. I cannot be friends with thieves.

you must live in the deep

you must live in the deep south if you can afford to act like that.
