Need to Free Minds
I was talking with two relatives of mine during a dinner party and I brought up the presidential race. Both are Republicans and both voted to re-elect Bush. These people are college educated and basically accept and agree with the fact that the U.S. wars for oil and kills people overseas so they can continue to live their lifestyle. They play politics and say that third party candidates or independents (Ron Paul) have no chance of winning because they don't have their names out there, they aren't backed by the media. They rationalize and say they wouldn't bother to even "look" at any candidate that isn't a frontrunner.
I know my two relatives are not alone in this thinking. We need to keep fighting to make Ron Paul a frontrunner and break down this initial barrier. At the same time we need to dispel this idea that we need to have military occupation just to have oil.

It's true, people have the
It's true, people have the wrong ideas about him and about government, and I'm finding, about election.
I talked to someone I know about Ron Paul, and they said they liked him, but would not vote for him because he won't win. There's something completely backwards about this. You're not supposed to vote for who you think will win, but who is the best to lead the country. Otherwise, everyone in the country would just fall onto one person.
AHHH!
Ron Paul IS a Frontrunner
I contend that Ron Paul IS a frontrunner - people just don't know it yet because the polls aren't showing his actual support. They'll know soon enough just what a frontrunner he is.
blind allegiance...
These people need a major dose of liberty! If they understood freedom, they would be traitors. However, their allegiance to the criminal administration is on account of their ignorance. They need some serious rehab.
