"On the day the new Congress convened this year, Sen. Dianne Feinstein introduced legislation to route $25 billion in taxpayer money to a government agency that had just awarded her husband's real estate firm a lucrative contract to sell foreclosed properties at compensation rates higher than the industry norms. "

I am beyond disgusted. The assaults upon the populace are relentless and from every corner. These people need ARRESTED. NOW. WHERE are the law enforcement officials???!! (Oh, that's right - in the pockets of Ms. Feinstein and friends.) Well, those who make peaceful revolution impossible will not get any sympathy from me when people are forced into taking up arms to bring JUSTICE to this criminal cartel that extends into nearly every nook of government.

I found this in the Digg comments

still looking to verify it. If it's true, this should also be front page news...

"Someone found a tortoise shell in the desert in Southern California. No one knew where it came from or how it got there. Bilderburger/CFR/Trilateral Commission member Feinstein declared the area to be off limits to everyone as the tortoise was "an endangered species". Her husband owned a mining operation in China which extracted minerals that were found in only two places: China and the now protected Mohave Desert. He cornered the world market with a tortoise shell and the stroke of a pen. Slick trick."

and this comment also was interesting

"Of course there are no ethics problems. This simply is intended to recoup the losses when Senator Feinstein quietly resigned from the Military Construction Appropriations Committee, where she was the chair and ranking member from 2001 through 2005. While in that capacity, her husband's firms URS and Perini earned approximately $1.6B from Committe projects. See a local article on same:
http://www.metroactive.com/feinstein/
And that apparently is just the tip of this goldmine, er goldberg, er iceberg.

Seems that the good Senator, like many of her colleagues, is a serial dipper when it comes to the public trough. Do you think maybe AG Holder will declare this no problem at all, and no investigations are warranted?"

Thought I'd share since this should be big news.

"You are a den of Vipers.I intend to rout you out and by the Eternal God I will rout you out."

For an informed citizenry, individuals must discard the television set in favor of the acquisition of information via either books and/or the internet. An uneducated populous will remain in ignorance and thus continue to suffer the sharp ax of tyranny.

You know how when companies

You know how when companies have contests they don't allow employees or family members of employees to participate? I think it might be a good idea for our federal government to be held to the same standard. Spouses, children, parents and maybe other close relatives should be off limits for contracts that their relative has ANY political influence whatsoever over.

...

Whatever happened to

terms like payola and conflict of interest?

Arresting them would be good.

Convicting them and incarcerating them would be better.

Her husband is on the board at Bechtel

The number two contractor for the wars behind Haliburton.. but you couldn't get a Re4publican to go up against Feinstein over her profitting off the war during Bush's terms, and you think now?

WE ARE GOING TO WIN!

"Socialism needs two legs on which to stand; a right and a left. While appearing to be in complete opposition to one another, they both march in the same direction." - Paul Proctor

At one time, this would have been scandalous

Not anymore. Justice has been derailed and there is no accountability anymore.
