"I Know All Your Friends"

I think it was just a cheap snipe at Dr. Paul's supporters, you know, the ones that send him e-mails.

Truth on Shepard Smith - Who is He? What Was He Talking About?

The Fox Report with Shepard Smith remains the top-rated newscast in cable news. Shepard Smith tied for second (along with Dan Rather and Peter Jennings) most trusted news anchor on both network and cable news in a 2003 TV Guide poll. In addition to anchoring Fox News Channel's flagship news program, Smith also anchors most prime time news presentations provided by Fox News for the Fox television network.

There are also a couple of facts you need to know;

1) The American CIA used waterboarding (near drowning) on prisoners, up to 183 times per prisoner, per month.

2) The Attorney General has said that waterboarding is torture, and that torture is criminal.

Now, for those that may have been confused about Shepard Smith, let's take a closer look at exactly what he said:

3:45 Gallagher: There are two schools of thought on whether this thing [torture] was effective or not.

Smith: It doesn't matter, we don't do it.

4:25 Napolitano: Torture is something you know it when you see it.

Smith: It's something other people do, we don't do it.

5:17 Smith: We're America and we don't torture. If you have something else to say beyond that. Say it to somebody else. Cause that's it. There's nothing else.

5:55 Gallagher: We're saying that if it's torture, the rest of the story we don't want to hear?

Smith: We don't need it, doesn't matter.

Gallagher: We don't want to hear the rest of the story?

Smith: We've always signed documents, lots of them.

6:15 Gallagher: Isn't there the other side of the story, like we do at Fox, that needs to be heard?

Smith: No. No. There is not another side!

9:03 Smith: Whatever torture is, we're America, we don't do it.

HAHA! SHEPARD SMITH +1 "I

HAHA! SHEPARD SMITH +1

"I have a microphone in me!" Shep Smith 1:20 CLASSIC!

Please people

Shep was on there for a few minutes and repeated himself over and over.
did you even pay attention to the rest of the show or do you just have to obsess over the fox news guy. It gets old. At least wait until they are truly saying something stupid. Stop living in the past. There is a slim chance they realize by now that they are not invincible to what is happening.

This was a great show. I wish this show came on at a time when some people I know that watch fox would see it. Like instead of Oreilly or something. I can't believe people watch him. They actually take him serious too. That's scary. I see it as some kind of retarded comedy done in very bad taste.
What is it supposed to be? Please tell me it's not supposed to be taken seriously. Like Jerry Springer? Is it supposed to be news? My sister loves him. I've tried to watch a couple times. Just can't.

Hmm

Yeah, with all due respect I have to agree about Shep. You can clearly see the Judge's facial expressions at certain points, he's clearly frustrated with him cutting everyone off and screaming the way he was. His beginning remarks about Dr. Paul being on the show seemed almost sarcastic...probably because Dr. Paul is on every week...

And what was with his comment in the 2nd video about "I know all your friends"...I don't understand what he meant there...anyone else?

torture has been one of the

torture has been one of the major media topics for the last 4 years and Shep didnt say a word, yet now he is so passionately against it? Give me a break.

Shepard Smith is making fun of the Judge's webcast.

And Judge Napolitano does not want to offend Shepard Smith...

Ron Paul's Convention Speech

Was he drunk?

I still remember how he squelched the little girl and mother who were saying it was the Georgians who fired first in Ossetia, not the Russians. Maybe he will be useful as a bullsh*t test for Cody Williard.

Drunk

I was going to say the same thing...intoxicated

I think it's okay for us to

I think it's okay for us to be extremely watchful of some of the tactics Fox has used in the past BUT you've got to remember that people are people as well. Shep has an opinion the same as we do and I believe his "true" self is coming across in this segment. I mean come on, you've got to give the man a break he mentioned going after Bush and Cheney about the torture issue.

Puppets come and puppets go but the world's stage is getting cluttered.

Fox News Deception: "We Are Americans, We Do Not Torture."

Let's break down how simple this deception is;

1) One kid hurts another kid in the hallway.

2) Some teachers see one kid crying and ask the hall monitor what happened.

3) The hall monitor tells the teachers, "We are good kids. We don't hit each other."

RP sent us a message in

RP sent us a message in segment 3 when they were discussing the Fed and the transparency act. He said that some of the new congressmembers that signed on said they did so after being pressured in local townhall meetings when constituents insisted on Fed transparency. He is telling us to keep up the pressure, that it is effective and necessary. Lets crank it up!

The Judge also sent us a

The Judge also sent us a message as well.

Shepard Smith is a CIA Tool - Watch Him Again for Demonstration!

I just watched the 1st video for the 3rd time.

If you want to see a very good example of a CIA tool at work, then watch Shepard Smith warn and intimidate Judge Napolitano, tell everyone at Fox how the game is played, and then go on to deceive the American people when they go on air.

They don't go on the air until 7 minutes into the video.

Ron Paul's Convention Speech

What a

dooch-bag Shep. Smith is. He is so phony and full of himself it's pathetic. And for the Judge to not say anything, is really puzzling. His rant about 'we don't torture is so unprofessional', typical of the MSM. Starting to wonder about the good Judge.

This show gets better every week!

Fast Forward for Liberty

I use the Fast forward feature a lot now days. It makes for shorter videos, but it cuts thru the bullshit.

"The United States can pay any debt it has because we can always print money to do that." — Alan Greenspan

Am I a patsy?

I agree with most of what people've written about Shepard Smith. It does seem like Fox has instructed Shepard Smith, Glenn Beck, and others to establish their freedom credibility. It's a little silly to watch. The judge has written books, hosts "Freedom Watch", and speaks at C4L events so they're glomming onto that. But I do admit I don't really see the downside. As soon as someone starts talking sense I start thinking they're OK. I suppose it would be better if they were real proponents but if they're just saying the words typed on a teleprompter I'm OK with that. At least they're saying the right thing and if someone who doesn't know it's an act hears it and believes it then it can only be a positive. I'd rather be suspicious they're going to betray us at some point then be disgusted with what comes out of their mouths right now.

The downside is that they

The downside is that they take control of the message.

I have no doubt it is going to happen eventually. They glom onto us, suck the blood and the energy, take it big, tweak it, change it, and by 2012, it is something we no longer recognize at all.

That is the downside. In the meantime, they'll distance themselves from and marginalize the true believers.

Can't the pendulum swing our way?

There's the danger you point out but I'm trying to be optimistic here. Not so secret agent Glenn Beck's poll is showing about 40% of republicans want to see the party move in a Ron Paul direction. That's a lot better than when the Fox wouldn't report RP's 14% in the primaries while plastering up Rudi's 8%. Even Hillary Clinton acknowledged RP's supporters today albeit too panderingly. What is the swinging of the pendulum in our favor supposed to look like and how would it be different than what we're experiencing? HR1207 has 71 cosponsors. I believe that's the most of any bill introduced by RP. Fox isn't going to sway the true believers by co-opting the message. I still get about 25% of my news (as a starting point) from infowars and I don't see that changing because of Fox. In the meantime they'll be exposing sheeple to new ideas. Some of them will look into things for themselves. That's all we can ask. I'm starting to get the feeling these politicians are coming to the conclusion that many of their more informed constituents support RP.

So then we must be

So then we must be relentless to make sure that people know who the true believers are.

Watch Again! Here's What Shepard Smith is Really Doing;

Overall, he is emphatically and repeatedly stating that, "America does not torture."

The truth is, that America DID torture. Shepard Smith is in denial of that.

Here's the gig. By repeatedly saying America doesn't torture, viewers of Fox news will walk away saying the same thing, especially neo-conservatives.

So the next time you have a discussion with a neo-conservative or ignorant person about torture, you are very likely to hear, "We don't torture." in response.

All the while, the Judge was trying to explain the facts...

Ron Paul's Convention Speech

He also said the evidence would lead straight to Bush and Cheney

And he said Bush and Cheney should be brought to justice. If I come across a neocon parroting everything Shepard said today, then I'll be less than half mad.

Said Before on Air - to Explain WHY America Does Not Torture

And why he is not going to let anyone say that America DOES torture.

In otherwords, if America tortures, then the President and VP are criminals, therefore, "America does not torture."

That is what he was really saying.

Ron Paul's Convention Speech

Wow

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uaAVmsBw-_k#t=6m26s
"if it was torture, it was a crime.
If there was a crime there were criminals.
If there were were criminals their names were Bush and Cheney."
can't believe he said that!

then he said "If you did it, if you authorized it, you are a criminal you go to jail"

Is he drunk?

It's hard to tell what he's even talking about.

Good Idea. Please vote this up:
