WSJ: Clinton Praises Ron Paul

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton interrupted her testimony on Capitol Hill today to pay a compliment to Rep. Ron Paul, the Texas congressman who made an unsuccessful bid for the GOP presidential nomination last year.

As she finished answering a question from Paul, she added: “And, at the risk of going over our time, I just want to say, having campaigned during the last presidential election, you had the most enthusiastic supporters of anybody I ever saw.”

Paul laughed, and replied, “I love to hear that.”

It's so interesting to hear Hillary make that statement. I was at "Operation Hillary" (our meet-up term) in Seattle when she was making her campaign rounds. We had a huge signs and lots of loud chants as her limo drove into the underground garage. Funny, I was wondering just yesterday after RP made his comment if we even made an impact. I guess we did. : )

With praise coming from hard core Democrats, it tells me if Ron's own party had supported him, by nominating him, and backing him, and we elected him, our whole country could be in much better current shape, financially, militarily, and domestically, with a Ron Paul President!!!
