It’s time for Greenville to have a representative who is in the television age.

At the county convention on Saturday, there will be an election for state executive committeeman. Doug Wavle has been the executive committeeman for Greenville for 10 years now. He has never had a challenger. He has our only vote in Columbia at republican meetings and is the face of the party.

He does not own a TELEVISION. I am not making this up, you can ask him yourself. He believes it would be a sin.

But he is a strong supporter of Lindsey Graham. Now that is a real SIN.

1. He was the only person at the Greenville executive committee to speak against the lawsuit to get registration by party. He said at the meeting that he was afraid that the democrats might get mad and sue us for money. Why is he a leader in the party if he is afraid of the democrats? Lindsey Graham is also against the lawsuit. Now Doug Wavle and Lindsey Graham are trying to get the lawsuit stopped.

2. When the Buddy Witherspoon campaign asked to rent space at the party headquarters in Greenville, Doug Wavle was against it. Other candidates had rented space at the headquarters. Wavle did not want to make Lindsey Graham mad.

3. He tried to stop the censure of Lindsey Graham with a quorum call because he did not want it to pass.

Please vote for one of Wavle’s three challengers: Chris Lawton (longtime republican activist and county executive committeeman), Thomas Baker (longtime republican activist and third vice chairman of the GOP) or Dan Herren (longtime republican activist and campaign manager for Buddy Witherspoon).

Each one of them owns a TELEVISION. Why is the largest county represented by a person without a television?

At a meeting of the Greenville executive committee, I was handing out anti-Graham literature on a table and Doug Wavle got mad and took the campaign literature by force away from me and walked off with some of the literature.
