The correct answer to that poll, as well as many other polls about amendments, is no. The Second amendment doesn't give anyone any rights. The Second amendment restrains the government from violating the inherent right of the person to arm and protect his/herself.

It seems to me that by continually stating that the Amendment(s) gives us our right(s) we are giving the government the go ahead to legislate away the amendment, thereby, "supposedly" stripping us of our Unalienable Rights...something that is impossible to do.

Of course, the polls are always worded incorrectly.
