What I love about the Daily Paul!!

0 votes

I understand we are the underdogs, and probably do not have a chance in hell of influencing people, but yet 3 times per day or more I come here and read all of your wonderful posts.

I do my best every day to educate people, but things are the way they are. I will continue to fight...but sometimes it feels hopeless. Every day I come here....and I read all of the posts. I understand that somebody put the effort to type this in for me. The person that posted is the same as me. And that is what I love.

I look at the Daily Paul, as I do Susan Boyle from UK American Idol. They laughed at her at first. And then something special happened. This is how I see myself....and the Daily Paul.

Please watch this video of Susan Boyle. A 47 year old lady that lives by herself with her cat named "Pebbles". They laughed at first. This video actually brought a tear to my eye. It is sooooo not fair to judge.

This is how I see us here on the DP. Someday...we will shine like this.

Enjoy.....and please tell me what you think...

Yep; I've got to have my Daily Paul daily ...

too! It goes better w/my first cup of coffee in the 'morn than a coffee cake. Gotta have it! It's an afternoon delight and makes a wonderful nightcap, too.

This my favorite website, hands down.

Things I love about this website:

1) The content. So relevant, varied, interesting, and accurate. Keep it up.

2) The community. Great to see so many people giving their 2 cents on a given story. I learn a lot from the comments here.

3) The style of the website. It's just good.

4) The sponsors.

5) The personal touch.

PLEASE do not even consider stopping your VERY important work. I link people to your stories all the time. For each person who visits here, it spreads 100 fold. I promise you, this website is a MAIN HUB from the freedom movement.

Time to join the lovefest...

since I've gotten out my frustrations on that *other* active Daily Paul thread ("why I don't like Daily Paul"). But really, what I should say to all is thank you...especially to the ones who have disagreed with me. You are the ones who challenge me, the ones who inspire me to write those insane posts which make it appear I've emptied the dictionary and Tom Paine quotes onto the page. If I didn't think someone here could take all that, hell, I wouldn't be visiting this place everyday. If this were mega-ditto-land, I might be clueless about what I really believe. Writing helps me sort that out, and you challenge me to write.

Yes, I'm still new here, but I feel I've been here forever. This place has even invaded my dreams. I had a dream about a thread last night...woke up fired up, ready to respond. Then I looked for the thread. Doesn't seem to exist...

Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.
Thomas Jefferson

Malo periculosam libertatem quam quietam servitutem. ("I prefer the tumult of liberty to the quiet of servitude"). Thomas Jefferson to James Madison, 30 January 1787.

A Cockney Greek Cypriot version of "Riverdance". Genius!

"Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power." - Benito Mussolini.

That was wonderful,,, thank you, it brought tears to my eyes.

As a life long Red Sox fan since 1947, my first visit to Fenway, I have always rooted for the underdog. My lifelong dream came true in 2004 when Boston won the pennant in dramatic style in Yankee stadium, and then the world series.

After reading Ron Paul's writings since the early 1970's, he so inspired me as the only politician//underdog// with open honesty and integrity on display, in my lifetime, that I vowed to myself, when I heard he was running for president, that I would support him until my dieing breath.

I feel Ron has won hearts and minds around the world with his messages of PEACE, prosperity, and liberty and will awake the emotions in millions of people who respond to the sincerity in his words, just like people from around the world have responded to the gift Susan Boyle gave us in that performance.

Thank you again.

Ron Paul is my President!!!

What I love about the DP is...

you're all whiners, babies and scaredy cats...

But you're the cutest bunch of Mini-Paul freedom nutters in the world.

I get to come here and

Freedom is not FREE!!

Be unintelligent, intelligent, mad, loving, harmonious, antagonistic, pain in the ass, cruel, loving(again, most important), just wanting to help others.... Damn.... I am just someone that wants truth, freedom, liberty and my children to take better care of my country than I did.

With every thread written on the DP I see myself or someone I want to be.

Isn't the DP the greatest.

Freedom is not FREE!!

Her other video

is excellent! I think it may be a tiny bit better...

What Can I Add...

... to the great comments above (or below)?

Well, I'd rather be no one else in the world but me, nowhere else in the world but here, and at no other time in history than right now.

I am ADDICTED

to the Daily Paul, & have been for a long time. Michael is a hero for what he's done here. This site is also so easy to navigate & freedom of speech is 100%. I especially love it when there's a hot topic & we all swarm over it. Really invigorating. When I just want to listen to something, I go thru the videos & run them one by one. It's a real luxury to have so much information in one place.

Don't ever go away......

Prepare & Share the Message of Freedom through Positive-Peaceful-Activism.

Liberty is a popular message:

And it's growing. I spent about an hour Wed. night on the phone with a young man that I used to baby sit him and his sister. He was sitting around with friends (all 17-20 years old) and they put me on speaker phone to talk to me about what's going on. They wanted to know what web sites I read and where they can go to help further the cause. They know things are wrong and are eager to join in. So don't be too surprised to see a few new faces here. I have a huge list of bookmarks and I even spent a long time telling them things that they might have trouble finding elsewhere. Keep trying and even if you get one to listen, you have done something. I am so,,,, almost speechless that these young people are listening to me and they have the tech ability to continue to spread what they are learning. I need a list of good books to give to some of my other friends that aren't as tech savvy and want to read. Didn't there used to be a link to a reading list on DP?

Getting bigger

Our party is growing everyday, keep trying to teach. You might have to stand in front of their TV but do whatever you have to. It is vital that we have an awakening of the sheep. Up until about 2 months ago I was one myself. They can be awaken keep it up.

I submit that an individual who breaks a law that conscience tells him is unjust, and who willingly accepts the penalty of imprisonment in order to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is in reality expressing the highest respect for

But the biggest thing for me is how much I have learned on this site.

Thank you Michael Nystrom.

I love all the crazy people here around

Yes, they call us crazy because we have critical mind, we don't trust what we are being told unless we go research it for our self and find out a different story.
I love you all, even the trolls between you, because you give me hope, hope that this country will still be a bacon of freedom for years to come.
I love to come here and find 100's of different subject that nobody is discussing in the easy accessible MSM. Tabous are being broken, whistles are being blown, truth is emerging and humanity is showing it's best side by informing, discussing, collaborating and respecting each other opinion.

You are true patriots, with you the revolution started and with you the republich would be in good hands as long as we follow the rule of law and stay faithfull to the contitution by understanding, preaching and defending freedom. THANK YOU ALL and thank you Michael for your hard work.

*snicker*.. "a bacon of freedom"....sorry, hun, but that there's

funny! Guess you were thinking about pork-barrel spending! I hope you love the spell-check nazi's too ;)
