Ron Paul is NOT your leader, I am.

Every day stand in front of the mirror and say it a dozen times or so, until you understand and believe it.

Ron Paul taught me to think for myself, not to think what he thinks.

JUST a joke

WE are in trouble.
you-no

i understand

what you are saying, and know you dont mean any disrespect. just giving advice on how to get motivated. kudos

Ron Paul is not my dictator

But I do consider Ron Paul one of my leaders as I do take his lead on issues and stand up for him and all of us... would I do this without Ron Paul... No.

I would not have made 911 into a foreign policy issue, but Ron Paul did and it was BRILLIANT, and Ron Paul hs integrity, so I feel safer following his lead than say, Arlen Spector's?

I am not ashamed to have leaders, people who help me find balaance and security on the slippery slope our government has embarked. I don't always agree with Ron Paul, and I am happy to say that Ron Paul and I can be civil and agree to disagree, we agree on so much... he is a leader and I am proud of him for joining our rEVOLution. That takes a leader and that is what Ron paul is... so what's this big turn around?

During the campaign we were told to be like Ron Paul, now we are being told Ron Paul is not our leader and if he is, you're an idiot who can't think for themselves (join the GOP where everyone is a leader, eh?)

WE ARE GOING TO WIN!

Ron Paul.

I don't think Ron Paul looks at himself in the mirror as a leader,,,I think he would be better classified as a teacher,,,,,so pleeese put your dunce cap on and get to the corner in the back of the classroom for trying to glorify your own importance.

Thinking for yourself is overrated

Thinking for yourself is overrated, especially if you aren't an expert in a particular field. I didn't think up Newton's Laws myself. I let Newton do that for me. I just checked it out and verified that it meshed with what I knew about the world, then used it myself. Likewise I thought up virtually nothing about my economics beliefs. I let people like Adam Smith, Mises, Hyek, Peter Schiff and others do the thinking for me. After all, that is their area of expertise. I just looked at the various economics theories and picked the ones that best represented the world as I know it.

Likewise, Ron Paul is an expert in the field of economics and politics. He knows the political machine inside out and has been in the game for at least 40 years. He knows a lot more than, well, I would say anyone here.

So I wouldn't put too much emphasis on thinking for yourself. Face it, there are much better thinkers out there that we should follow.

At least you can admit to being mentally challenged

It takes a big man to admit he can't think. The dumbing-down is working so well.

I admit to not being conceited

It takes a lot of conceit to think that you know the political and economic situation better than a man like Ron Paul who has been there since the 70s with a telescopic and microscopic view of the situation.

The people in this thread who are offended at the suggestion that Ron Paul might be a better thinker than they are having, in my opinion, massive delusions of grandeur.

and another thing troll.

if you actually listened to newtons laws of gravity and physics you would defend the official government story of 9/11 like you do.. because you'd know the pancake theory is total bullshit.

bbagnall says

be a sheep...

follow mindlessly...

no independent thought...

appeal to authority...

If you are not a shill for something, you do a great job impersonating one.

FYI, choosing to follow someone else IS MAKING AN INDEPENDENT CHOICE.

Following someone else mindlessly (i.e. due to emotion, appeal to authority, due to a fad, etc.) is simply giving up your power, your responsibility, your independence, everything.

Tyrants love mindless followers.

No. No that's not what I say at all.

What I'm saying is listen to Ron Paul. He has earned his place as an accurate and honest purveyor of information. We should listen to him and follow his lead.

If Einstein thought like you

If Einstein thought like you, or Adam Smith, or Mises, Hyak & Schiff and even Ron Paul thought like you, the world would be a much poorer place.

None of them started out as experts. They became experts by

thinking

for

themselves.

But your post certainly tells me who I shouldn't listen to.

'Always be yourself. Everyone else is taken.' - Oscar Wilde

But this guy's post seems to say not to listen to Ron Paul

But this guy's post seems to say not to listen to Ron Paul, or "not to think what he thinks." I would say for the vast majority of people here, that would be the wrong thing to do. Ron is a better thinker and a more dedicated researcher than 99.999% of the people here. I know for fact he's a better thinker than me or anyone I've met here. He has infiltrated the system, elbow to elbow with our enemies. He knows them. We just don't have that kind of microscopic view of the problem in the way he does. He's also proven himself to be an honest man. So I think it is the height of conceit to say we shouldn't listen to him.

What are you saying?!

Wait, so are you saying that Ron Paul is NOT a better researcher than most people here? The man is incredible. He sees things better than anyone here in my opinion and it comes from decades of dedicated research.

Thank You

I hope people will remember this the next time they get the desire to say, "Ron Paul says [this] about 9/11 or [that] about 9/11 (or whatever subject matter". Someone who bases their opinions on what Ron Paul says is missing his main message, which is 'think for yourself!' I believe that when you do think for yourself, you will find yourself largely agreeing with what Ron Paul has to say. He is an amazing leader and has some great ideas and analysis. But where Bush and Obama say 'trust me', Paul says 'here's a collection of books that I recommend you read to become educated.' I think we can agree that the difference is like night and day.

Hopefully your parents taught you to think for yourself.

I am continually thankful that we DO have someone with the integrity, intelligence, patience, experience, and wisdom of Ron Paul to stand as an example and leader for our movement.

Personally, most of us could do a lot worse than "thinking what he thinks".
I certainly had not noticed any lack of free-thinking individualism on this website or in this movement.

Unfortunately, most of this non-conformity does not appear to result in any great insight or creative solutions to our problems.

It does, however, result in a lot of "interesting" conspiracy theories and discussions with all of the maturity and intellectual content of a grade school lunchroom food fight.

Give me more "Ron Paul's" any day.

Ron Paul is my hero.

i like that

in fact, we shouldn't even be using his name in a sentence. if we can't have a discussion without using his name as a crutch then we won't get across the message, anyway.
