Calm down and look at the past. ITS the SAME flu! The powers that be know that Americans hate history and could care less when the last swine flu came out. Americans live in the now. So what is hot now I.E. Swine flu, will fill their hearts with fear.

The government is doing what it knows works. Why can't people here grasp that. This isn't a new play we haven't seen before. Its taken right out of the old play book. The Government is too cautious to try a new play. As anyone can see from this commercial.

Last time there was a swine flu outbreak it was introduced by the CIA into the New York subways to track its spread. This was done under Carter. It was genetically modified to be very mild - basically a head cold. This is documented fact - not compiracy theory.

There are big problems in Mexico that are not widely reported. You hear more about it in San Diego. Mexico is on the verge of revolution and this may be a ploy to stop it.

Unless there was another episode later that I'm not aware of that wasn't swine flu. It was some other respiratory infection. Neither a rhinovirus ("common cold") nor an influenza ("flu"), but one of the more severe than common cold, less severe than flu, "cold" viruses. It doesn't kill as many as flu but makes enough people sick enough that they go the hospital, which let the CIA track 'em.

They were trying to figure out how a biowarfare agent would spread in an urban population, to calibrate their planning.

As I understand it this got found out when Glen Roberts FOIAed the CIA's petty cash records for the New York office and noticed that this one account had items for aerosol sprayers, battery-powered air compressors, modifications to briefcases, subway tickets, and running a car through a car wash.

I pointed out that one of the cute girls, mid-PSA, is the wife of my co-worker.

I, too, remember these. I did not get a 'flu shot. Which is good, because I'm blood-type B, and they're useless without the booster shot, apparently. It's more effective to get the 'flu and build immunity that way.

At any rate, I can't remember the last time I caught it; it's been more than 5 years. My immune system is pretty good.

I stopped listening about a minute in, after:

- Gary confused Tamiflu (a viral enzyme inhibitor which the CDC has tested against this virus and found to be effective - though perhaps not effective enough to abort an established case or reduce the death risk) with a vaccine against an unrelated flu strain (which would not be effective).
- Gary said not to get an immunization unless your doctor SIGNS A DOCUMENT saying this immunization is specific for the bug in question.
- Robins claimed a 5% incidence of DEATH from influenza immunizations.
- Robins estimated a 10% incidence of iatrogenic influenza cases caused by the immunizations.
- Robins confused killed-virus immunizations (influenza injectable) with attenuated-live-virus vaccines (smallpox, sabin oral polio, and the new influenza nasal spray).

Five crocks in rapid-fire succession.

There may be problems with what the government will propose to do about this (if they ever get around to pushing ANYTHING). But IMHO there are more problems with this radio show than any of the governmental trial ballons I've seen so far.

I remember one of the (few) things I liked about Jimmie Carter was his initial refusal to be vaccinated. I don't remember if he eventually caved.
