Wednesday April 29 10am Eastern, 9am Central - US Congressman Roy Blunt to discuss Audit the Fed and the Liberty movement's relation to the MO GOP

On The Liberty Restoration Hour with Catherine Bleish at 10:00 am ET US Congressman Roy Blunt will be on the Liberty Restoration Hour which airs 5 days a week at 9am Central / 10 Eastern.

He will be discussing his support for HR1207 legislation to audit the Federal Reserve Banking System. Blunt is the 44th co-sponsor of the bill. The Missouri Republican Party and the grassroots liberty movement have been working toward a constructive and effective relationship in stark contrast to the heated political warfare of the 2008 election.

He questions the validity of homeland security, he misspoke (giving benefit of doubt) and said he always voted to make the patriot act temporary, although he did actually vote to make it perm, according to the records I have found. BUT he said it needs to be revisited, so that is awesome.

Roy Blunt is a lame, posturing, neo-con. Yes, the support of H.R. 1207 is much appreciated, but his past votes would seem to indicate the obvious political posturing this man is doing. Supporting H.R. 1207 might just be the only good thing Blunt has done in the Congress. Our friends in Missouri would do well to elect a better representative.

Edit: On second thought, maybe his constituents can talk him into changing his policy in some areas. Maybe I'm a bit too trusting, but hearing him speak, he seems like he believes in the ideology of limited government, but that he has voted the GOP line. If he doesn't change his voting habits, I'd say to get rid of him.
