SC first responders called in this morning for mandatory vaccination. This is first hand information. Supposedly this shot in your rear end will "protect you from getting this swine flu." This includes police, firefighters, and health safety officials. Appt. times are already being scheduled. A lot of them have already taken place! My co-workers act as if this is no big deal.......any advice!
Ok they are saying this is not the Vaccine.....it is just a immune system booster of some sort. They said it is the same one they are giving to family members of people confirmed with this flu. Can't you just take some airborne for that! why the need to take a shot in the rump!

They don't have a vaccine for this flu yet????? Is it possible they are giving them a Gama Globulin?
Gamma globulin injections can help boost a patient's immune system temporarily, so they are sometimes administered after a patient has been exposed to a contagious illness, though this practice is less common than it once was.
They will know if is a Gama Globulin because it hurts like hell and they usually stick it in the glut muscle.

10 'Probable' Cases Of Swine Flu In S.C.
NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. -- A total of 10 probable cases of the swine flu virus have been identified in South Carolina. All the cases are connected to a Newberry school group that recently returned from Mexico, South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control officials said Wednesday.
AND
On Tuesday, Buncombe County Health Director Gibbie Harris said that there are also two suspected cases of swine flu in that county. Harris said that the two people are both in isolation. Their families have been asked to voluntarily quarantine themselves. He said both had been in Mexico recently, but they are not related and had not traveled together. Both of them went to their family doctors after they developed fevers and typical flu-like symptoms.

Yeah I have some advice DON'T TAKE IT! Your job is not worth your life. Tell them it is a against you religion or what ever you have to. Ask them what will happen if you refuse. Quit your job if necassary!
