The first swine flu death in the United States has been confirmed, but the victim is a Mexican toddler who caught the illness in Mexico before traveling to Texas. Serious questions must now be asked about why a virus that has spread across at least 10 countries and is suspected in many others has only killed hispanics, and whether a race-specific bio-weapon is being beta-tested.

I was speaking to my roommate, who is a scientist, although mainly does research on parasitic plants, also has a wealth of knowledge in other areas. He has a theory as to why people in Mexico are the only one's dying, I'll pass his reasoning on to everyone here at DP. I'm not saying this is anything confirmed by anyone else, but his theory seems probable.
My conversation with him started because I was suspicious that this new strain of swine flu, had elements from human flu type A and type B, Asian swine flu, European swine flu, and avian flu. It seemed very unlikely that all these would combine. Though after speaking with him, I suppose over time, it is possible.
So essentially viruses of the same type, when they come into contact with one another "swap information". This will many times result in a new hybrid virus. More often than not, these viruses cannot be transmitted to humans, or if they can be transmitted from an animal to human, it won't transmit human to human, so it never even makes a blip on the radar. So... there is a good chance that there may be a few strains of swine flu being carried in Mexico (if that's where it originated), perhaps those dying of swine flu are also infected with strains they contracted from direct contact with livestock, or livestock waste... but the other strains may not spread human to human. The end result would be that the 1 strain that can transfer human to human is the one hitting all the different countries, but the one's that can only transfer from the animal/source to a human are staying in Mexico. So, those in Mexico that are dying could be infected with 1, 2, or more strains/variations of swine flu.
That was his theory, just adding more thoughts to the discussion. Make what you want of it.
I have been wondering the
I have been wondering the same thing. If the Mexican deaths accelerate how are they going to explain it? If they had targeted DNA specific to the Mexican population, would our American Indian population be at risk too? What would be the repercussions in society if only one racial group were dying within American communities? Could our Mexican American citizens become targets of quarantines? Which profile would be next? Scary.

Genetic weapons that could be targeted at specific racial groups in a form of hi-tech ethnic warfare are to be investigated by the British Medical Association.
They do not exist but could be available in five to 10 years, the association said. Doctors fear developments in genetic therapy to cure disease might be turned to evil ends in the hands of a dictator.
The investigation, commissioned by the association's board of science, was announced at the BMA's annual conference in Edinburgh. It is due for completion in 12 months. Scientists expect to be able to produce the first genetically targeted drugs in five years. The drugs would repair faulty DNA within the cell and might be used to treat conditions such as diabetes and cystic fibrosis. Dr Nathanson said: "No one has been able to tell me why, if we can produce genetically targeted drugs with a good effect, we won't be able to produce similar drugs with a bad effect in the same time-scale."

because the man behind the curtain is the one deciding which flu gets categorized as influenza/flu and which ones get categorized as some new dangerous flu.
they could also take all the people who died last week of influenza in israel, and say it was some dangerous new anti-semetic strain that was killing only jews.
instead of investigating the testing methodology, prison planet is jumping on the "race-specific biowarfare" bandwagon meme.

It appears this science does exist and it only makes sense that
these Frankenstein s would want to beta test it on live subjects.
The following article was written in 1999 and predicted a genetic bio weapon would be ready in five to ten years. Given that prediction the timing of this flu seems about right.

GENETIC weapons capable of wiping out specific ethnic groups are no longer the stuff of science fiction, military and scientific advisers with the British and American governments have admitted.
Technology is now far enough advanced to give even small nations the ability to create so called "G-Bombs", ethnically-targeted biological missiles with warheads tipped with plague or anthrax, designed to eliminate entire racial groups.
An investigation by the British Medical Association has concluded that G-Bombs will become a weapon of war in five years, enabling governments to target victims solely on their genetic make-up. Professor Vivienne Nathanson, head of the BMA's health policy research, said: "Biological weapons had limited use due to the shortcoming of being unspecific in targeting. "However, genetic targeting is now possible. Probably in the next five to 10 years we will see the manufacture of relatively specific biological weapons which are lethal in small volumes. This leaves only a very short timescale to put in place control mechanisms to make sure these weapons are never developed." Nathanson will make her disturbing prediction in a new Channel Four documentary, Deadly Code, to be screened as part of the Equinox series on May 17. Biological and chemical warfare has always carried a risk of killing the attacking government's troops. But G-bombs would use genetic markers specific only to particular races to trigger the virus - anyone without the genetic marker would be unaffected. Scientists could manipulate the structure of the plague virus to attack only a person who had a race-specific DNA code. One race- specific trait determined by genes is the body's reaction to lactose. Asians and Europeans have different DNA markers determining lactose reaction. This kind of knowledge could be used to construct a virus which only attacks Asians, and could lead to a scenario where a plague- laced bomb dropped on a city would wipe out the entire Asian community but leave every white person alive. Dr Richard Falkenrath, an adviser to the US Department of Defence, said: "The capacity to produce and use biological weapons is increasing, and terrorist groups are more inclined to commit acts of mass violence. I am worried about the convergence of these two trends. A major act of biological terrorism is likely enough for it to be taken very seriously at the level of government." At least 16 countries have bio-weapons programmes, including Syria, North Korea and China. Russia has already developed a new generation of untreatable diseases which are resistant to antibiotics. Major Eric Henschal of the US army's Institute of Infectious Disease said the proliferation of new technology meant the ability to create high-resistance bio-weapons was becoming available to the West's adversaries. Iraq is known to have huge vats of anthrax in isolated labs. Dr Falkenrath said: "The revolution in bio-sciences is every bit as profound as the nuclear revolution and it could have devastating effects on the future of bio-warfare and bio-terrorism." The technology to create genetic weapons is already fairly commonplace. During routine detection work, the FBI's crime labs stumbled on genetic markers specific to blacks, whites, Hispanics and native Americans. Work by the Human Genetic Diversity Project, which collates information on the similarities and differences in ethnic groups, has found a genetic marker present in the DNA of Palestinians but not Israelis. "If you add together a number of different markers for different populations you can start to be specific to a target population," said Nathanson. Once these markers are identified, a virus could be designed to look for them on entering the body. It would scan the DNA of cells looking for markers and if it found them it would insert itself into the host DNA and start the process of infection. Targeting technology already exists thanks to the race to find a cure for cancer.

if the science existed then that doesn't mean it applies.
and it certainly doesn't negate the fact that the man-behind the curtain is calling the shots on who died from influenza, who died from flu, and who died from a new virus. the symptoms are identical. why would you trust them to give you the truthful answer?
did you know that if you come down with the flu, they are calling on you to ask your doctor to send in swab samples where they will tell you whether or not you have it.
so thousands of swab samples are being processed from around the globe, where they are either confirming or denying that you have it.
it's up to them to decide using whatever testing methods
prison planet notices that only mexicans are dying. but what they should be questioning is the science. the testing procedures.
in two months, the CDC/WHO may reveal mass cases from around the world -- all based on the same "FAITH" that they are telling you the truth to begin with.
You right about trusting
You right about trusting them to tell the truth about the results. Obviously they could lump in common cold and other resperatory ailments as part of the epidemic to raise numbers and justify more vaccines and tamiflu and control of the population.

that's how they padded the number with SARS. Suddenly there was a drop in influenza deaths by precisely the same number of SARS deaths that were reported.
After the fiasco ended, the influenza death-rate went back up to normal.
Wonder what will be done with
all those swabs and medical information that's being gathered? More genetic experiments...maybe?

Maybe. More data, more they can figure out how to do what they want to do.
Oh and heck maybe even clone anyone that sent in samples... =P
If this is true
and science has advanced to this point, what's to stop them from targeting all those who are obese or all drug users or any group who doesn't fit their idea of a perfect human being. Sort of reminds you of someone from 1930's Germany.
With this kind of power at their disposal...entitlements will no longer be a problem. They'll just figure out a way to cull most of the recipients with bio weapons.

I don't mind asking the question, or even if the answer is yes or no...
I just wonder how something like this, If True, would affect those of us that are Mexican-German-Irish-Spanish-English-Chitimachan-Scottish-Prussian-Cherokee-American (that might even have a little French)?
You probably only get a
"mild" case, and your DNA will give them that fact.
I suspect there are very few "pure ethnic" people left - most of us are mutts.
This does allow them to add thousands of DNA info to their database - hummmmmmm.
