Census: Give this to the Census Worker, will this help?

If we all printed up one of these, and gave it to the Census workers, would this help them back down? Or, would it send a message to the govt that we know our rights? Let me know what you think! The first part tells the law, etc. Scroll down for the questionnaire for Public Servants (Census workers). I am seriously thinking of giving this to them before I answer any questions. What do you think? I have already printed up a bunch of them ready.

Thank you for this. While I am not against the Census and (correct me if I am wrong) actually stipulates in the Constitution that there be one, this will certainly come in handy with just about ANY thing I would do concerning the Federal gov't.

but some of the question are just none of thier business and ridiculous. They have short forms and long forms. Short ones are not so bad but the long ones are pages long and too intrusive. Anybody seen one of this years yet?

I was a census worker in 2000
and I would have been scared to fill out one of these. Therefore my supervisor would have been the one to go the person in question. And she wouldn't have liked to fill it out too. Remember that the census workers are just that: they have a job. They just want to do it. I would think that if we gave these out, and then when they filled it in, and gave it to us and we refused a lot of questions they would just push our census thru, being glad to get over that person....

2000 and 1990 What you say is likely but some of the higher ups in the office can be real jerks and on a power trip and really push the crew leader and enumerators on these things. You would not belive some of the flunky morons I had to put up with in the office in 2000. They had no Idea what they were doing so I think they used the power trip as a cover. They would send a form back for you to re-do if an i wasn't dotted. or if someone didn't answer 1 question they would send you or someone out as much as 3 times even if it wasn't one of the high priority questions. Yet some people could get away with just names and the number of people. I never saw so much evil in 1 office in my life. My crew was great though.
I will be nice to the enumerator but only answer the questions I want and tell them to give me thier crew leaders # and then ask the crew leader for thier supervisors #. I will explain that I have given all the info I plan to.
