Why have a Congress at all?
Why, if the lobbyists are buying bills, and seem to be running the halls of congress, do we need congress. They apparently don't hear the majority, and why should I pay for this nonrepresentation. I have looked at the bills on the table. Some are so ridiculous the writers should be embarrassed because it insults not only my intelligence, but their's as well. Since the elected officials can't seem to decide on any bill within any prudent period of time, with the exception of those that bail out rich bankers and tax the working class with debt for generations, I suggest the people vote on each and every bill presented. We should hold voting once a quarter and really let the people speak. We don't need whores to lobbyists, we need to be heard, and who can say it better than ourselves. On the upside, the people will see the nonscense being submitted, and we will all save a lot of $$$ under our unconstitutional income tax. They won't need as much. No more big pensions, medical benefits, secret service, housing and the rest of the "perks". I don't believe Congress is working for the best interest of the majority, and for that they should be ashamed; but they're not.

What if
They held an election and no one came?
Seriously, having come through the last election cycle and seeing what they did to Dr. Paul from the straw polls, through the primaries, I now understand what it means when "they" call someone "unelectable." - It means that even if the candidate receives a clear majority of the vote, the correction software kicks in and the election is given to the elite's preferred candidate.
They (our masters) have no reason to listen, why should we expect them to? We are not the "customers" of government, they don't "work for us," and they never have. You have to follow the money.
As Stephan Molyneaux has so eloquently stated: "There are no governments, only livestock management programs."
Why encourage them by participating (and thereby legitimizing) their scam? The problem of government will not be solved by political action within their system, non-participation is a better approach.

Great point. At the very least, why the heck in this day and age of modern communication do we send them to that cesspool DC? They should remain in their districts working for the people they represent not the lobbyist and professional and unelected underlings of Congress and DC.
I hate to admit it, but it
I hate to admit it, but it looks like even mob-ocracy would be preferable to the oligarchy we have today.
