Tom McClintock's H.R. 2009 - Allows banks to immediately repay TARP funds

0 votes

For those who don't yet know, Tom McClintock recently introduced H.R. 2009, a bill that would allow banks who received TARP funds to immediately repay them back if they are able. Obama has used the TARP funds to deceivingly gain more control of the banks and pressure banks into receiving money, as Judge Napolitano has shown numerous times on Freedom Watch. Allowing banks to repay the TARP funds would allow them to continue business without the federal government dictating their business.

The bill already has 30 cosponsors and is also in committee, so this may be something worth getting behind, at least if it looks like it could gain momentum. So far it seems to be doing well, keep an eye on it.
