Glenn Beck: States to declare intra state sovereignty :)
In case you missed it today on the Glen Beck show, representatives from the Montana, Utah, and Texas legislature were there discussing state gun legislation. For those of you who have seen the the thread here about Montana, they have passed legislation that states that all firearms and ammunition manufactured in Montana is not subject to federal regulation. This means that anything goes. And if you are like me that looks at the 2cnd ammendment where is says "shall not be infringed" this is exciting. Additionally, the representative from Utah stated that he wanted to create a sanctuary state for firearams. Meaning, any bans implemented by the federal government will be ignored. For those of us that are from Texas Representative Leo Berman (R) stated that he is actively working on passing a model of the Montana legislation in Texas. This is a bright day for those of us who ardently believe in the Second Ammendment.

Hi, dunnowhat2use. It could be that your post title is deliberate, but the word you are striving for is spelled "sovereignty," not "soviernty." Can someone please correct this? It makes it look like the readers on this forum are ignant. (That was deliberate.) Thanks.

I've been here longer than you, as if that means anything. Sorry to disagree with you (you're one of the more interesting people on DP), but I say the above poster is right. We should appear as intelligent as possible in front of the passers-by. A few more of them might stick around and learn. Correct spelling is a must as far as I'm concerned. Let's all proofread and pay attention to what we type. Please?

And the cop issues at the end? You realize what Glenn did, right??? Glenn basically just pointed out what hypocrites these guys are. He basically just showed that these people don't want to obey the US government but yet they will get on their knees with hat in hand when it comes to money.
