Peter has a shifty eye problem that will be off-putting
to voters. However, it appears he may be working on this problem. Notice that early in this video his eyes shift quite a bit but he gets it almost entirely under control as the video continues.
It's little visual things like this that unfortunately make a lot of voters' minds up who to vote for. The incumbent can be first cousin to a skunk and a pig where policy is concerned but have "an honest face" and "sincere voice" that will tip the scale in their favor with the frighteningly large contingent of non-ideological voters.

If Barney Frank can get into Congress with that weird face and that crazy mumbling, any decrepit derelict can. Peter Schiff looks professional, speaks plain English, and will relate well with the people. He gets free airtime on news stations so hopefully many people will get to know him and like his platform.

Yes,
perhaps it is when he is a better stressed or concentrating on thoughts, or a "biological" issue. Maybe his brother Andrew can run should he decide not to run. If he runs, they should take a nice professional pic of him.
Yes, he speaks his mind and is like Dr. Paul also to the root (raw/radical, NOT extreme). He just need to get a very good mange and focus on a few issue rather than talk in detail, but have all info in detail available. He knows the constitution also very good, have you noticed during his conversation with Andrew Napolitano. Apart from his TV appearance, he has also spoken at various venues.
He should just learn to smile a bit (especially for women such issues could be important). He has all the confidence based on his record.
He need to develop a skill and learn Chris Dodd's strength's and weaknesses. Dodd is witht he banking commission thus Schiff can focus on both their strengths and will overpower him. Dodd is also quite corrupt. I think Schiff will be a very good debater.
