His description of America sounds like the ignorant ramblings of people who have spent little or no time in the US. What he's saying plays strongly on the stereotypes people have whose knowledge of America are entirely limited to New York City, Los Angeles, and TV shows and movies.
From his accent I assume he's American, so I'm guessing he's just telling the idiots what they want to hear about how horrible Americans are and how great the French are.
You can trash the US government 24/7, and I'll probably agree with a lot of what you say. But when you trash the American people, question the American work ethic (we should be more like FRANCE?!?! Are you KIDDING ME?!?!?), and praise the French for being conditioned for massive intervention in employer-worker contracts, you've lost me. Don't even get me started about the guns comment.
This guy's an idiot and pandering to the lowest common denominator of smug European arrogance.

Companies are allowed to fail in a free society, fraud and violating others rights is punished. But the failure of a company or industry should never be rewarded with bailouts nor should it be met with violence such as waterboarding.
This guy has no idea what he's talking about and no idea what's going on in this country since he's in France. One of my communist friends told me that if a revolution is going to start in this country, it's coming from the libertarians, not the socialists. Commies are all talk and no game.
Google: Youtube, Yuri Brezmenov (a KGB defector who was interviewed by G. Edward Griffin in 1985 ... he explains how the takeover of the USA was already a done deal ... couldn't be stopped). Listen carefully.
Finally, what the heck are you doing with "communist friends?" Believe me, true communists are NOT your friends.
do you know what happens when you corner a lion...the lion charges!
the american people are a lion and they are cornered...they are cornered by a lack of productivity resulting in massive and yet unseen unemployment that started with nafta and the trade imbalance with china...a loss of all present and future revenue because it has been stolen by the elite...and all of this is coupled with a complete mistrust in their elected politicians...
somebody better back up or they will cause this "lion" to charge...the man sees that...i'm surprised you don't

Workers treated like dirt? Bah! They are lazy. The Chinese work their behinds off for nothing. They don't have much choice though. The American worker used to work harder for less and all of Europe bought our products. Now, China has taken over that role and we sit back and buy their junk. And the American employee can be dismissed with grounds for stealing or whatever, and they can sue for worker's comp. It is out of control. Ask any small business guy.
Yes, we are going through changes, and yes, the auto maker leaders have made some bad business decisions, but NO, we reject torture, and we don't blame the free market for our problems. If only the market could be truly free (from government intervention), where bad decisions were allowed to be punished by the market, and good decisions rewarded, then the correction could come and we could deal with it, and better products would come out of the market.
This guy is full of it. The reason Chrysler and GM are going broke is because they were giving their workers too many benefits. Assembly line workers make ~$70/hour with company provided health care and other benefits; they aren't profitable because they have ridiculous union contracts to deal with. As far as I can see, the reason the auto companies are in dire straights is because of a mix of outlandish auto-workers union contracts and bad management. Let them fail. Someone else will buy up the assets that are worth something. Someone else will find a way to make a profit with those assets. It certainly won't involve paying the new workers as much as the current ones are making though.
is because the corporate heads have been in bed with the oil moguls etc. and have passed up multiple opportunities to produce more efficient and better performing products. I don't know how many times I've read stories about them buying up some new technology patent that might have revolutionized the automobile, just to ensure that the technology never sees the light of day. It's business as usual!
Yes, the unions are corrupt (communist led, no doubt), but honesty and good will in employer-employee relations has a way of deflating the importance and need for unions. Besides, $70 and hour sounds like a lot of money until you measure it against the corporate top dogs who fly around in company jets and pull down unimaginable multi-million dollar salaries PLUS annual bonuses which are often greater than the original salaries, all the while running the company into the ground, just to make the next quarter's financial statements "look good."
When greed gets going, it spreads like wildfire and the little people want in on it too, and everybody starts taking stupid pills. And, if their not dumb enough, the go to the district of criminals for more potent stupid pills.
I think our economy is phony ... phony, greedy capitalists and mean spirited communists have co-opted our economy and are doing their best to destroy everything.
People who live for money and good times are pathetic. They have no understanding of what makes life meaningful (and these are the jokers who rule over us).
All humans must all work in order to sustain themselves. If they want real satisfaction from their work, they must do their jobs to the best of their abilities. Employers have a responsibility (under God) to pay workers a LIVING wage. (To defraud workers of their just wages is one of the 4 sins that cries out to God for vengeance).
I guess the main point I was trying to make is that in a good, fair economy, there needn't be animosity between management and labor. But, our economic system works ass backwards.
We have to get beyond the capitalist-communist paradigm to a truly fair system.
… of the War On Financial Terrorism will increasingly read like 19th, and 18th century political rhetoric. There are many 20th century lessons to be studied as well. Each such period of acute turmoil involved class warfare as confrontation heats up.
Historically, he is in good company, and presently he will need more company, so grab your torch (in the hand that’s not carrying the pitchfork) and head to the sound of cannon fire.
On the shadowy fringes of smoke and conflagration we will need light.
"Class warfare" is typically the result of a whole lot of behind the scenes communist manipulation of the various classes, and has nothing to do with the way human nature usually reacts to adversity.
Poor and wealthy people can have the very same aversion to evil, unjust governments and find themselves fighting on the same side. History (until the stupid, evil, freemasonic, 18th century), is full of such examples. The French Revolution was the first (totally planned and manipulated) "class warfare" undertaking. And these "wars" have been going on ever since, all around the globe.
When "class warfare" breaks out, you can bet the farm there are communist strings attached.
It will be interesting to see how the growing unemployment plays out. They guy is right when he says we have millions of guns, but whether there will be a revolution, armed conflict or an all-out civil war remains to be seen.

The "Titans of Industry" haven't "turned" us into anything. You need to beware of this Marxist sort of thinking that pervades our educational system and society. It's not us vs the entrepreneur, it's not management vs labor, it's not rich vs poor - it's Liberty vs Tyranny. No business is capable of imposing tyranny absent State support. The GOVERNMENT destroyed the economy, NOT private business.
For Ron Paul supporters to continue harping on the "private banks" and "mega corporations" is ignorance that must be corrected by better education. It's the State that's at the core of all this corruption, not the other way around. Haliburton would just be another developer competing in the market if it weren't for massive government contracts and regulations that squash any semblance of free-market capitalism.
He's playing to foreign stereotypes of America

In this context Max is, so far, minimal when his volleys are compared to historical models for his role such as Paine and Spooner.

Yes but the Titans bought the government
Today they own it lock, stock and barrel.
The Federal Reserve is not
The Federal Reserve is not the government. It's a private bank controlled by the "Titans of Industry."
The US government is a corporation bought and paid for by these "Titans of Industry" just like the People's Republic of China.
Yes, the government did destroy our country but it had a partner--The Corporation. I believe they call this Corporatism.
The lines are blurred now....

JP Morgan & Goldman Sachs (investment bankers) ruined our economy. Read it here in depth from Martin Armstrong
