Do all Americans owe the Founding Fathers a debt of gratitude and appreciation.

Do all Americans owe the Founding Fathers a debt of gratitude and appreciation along with that generation of American taxpayers who fought and paid for the Revolutionary War.

You mean

that well bred, well read, well wed, and well fed group of men who did exactly what we are fighting against now? They unified a group of individual states to combine with one central government than forced them to have free trade, no independent military, and took their power over monetary policy away. Then they declared that only white landowners, basically the elite, could vote.

It’s something to think about. I do appreciate them for their knowledge and libertarian ideas.

I am appreciative

of every work of genius throughout time which has increased the material condition of humankind and advanced peaceful, civil society.

Unfortunately, the American Republic (the great "minarchist" experiment) has failed.

Being a descendant of "greatness," does not make a person great. It is a dangerous delusion that breeds arrogance and laziness.

The struggle for liberty (and tyranny) is ongoing, and starts anew with each person when they are born.

If you don't want the Constitution can we have it?

We're still subjects in Britain.

That's a good one Brit4!

I love it!

However, the great historian Eustice Mullins says that even though it appeared that the US won independence, it was only political and and illusions and that we have never actually had true independence because the European Bankers have always had financial control and still do to this day!

The banking cartel is genuinely international.

It makes no odds to them if the USA, EU, Russia, China, India or any other nation is the wealthiest. As long as they run the show, they're happy.

There are plenty of copies available on the Internet

Just download and print it off... ;-)

The real problem lies with defending it's principles, although, personally, I hold the Unanimous Declaration in much higher esteem.

I know. I just wish it was the law of my land as well!

The idea of a single document specifically set out to legally restrain government is marvellous.

As Jay Leno said, it worked reasonably well for the first two hundred years.

Compared to an Anarchist Dreamland it will always be found wanting, but compared to the legal systems of other nations its not too shabby.
