Apparently he WAS making the bomb threats. Lying bastards like this kid and the mom give our movement a bad name:

How Many Guys Does It Take?

How many guys does it take to arrest a stupid 16 year old kid? Does anyone think that we need to Patriot Act for this?

Are we supposed to admire these fools? Two local police officers could have investigated and made an arrest. Twelve or thirteen guys with guns drawn is not my idea of law enforcement. What the hell are they afraid of?

This kid and his mother don't give us a bad name. I have no affiliation with either of them, and I am sure that nobody else here does, either. If there is probable cause to suspect that he committed a crime, then arrest him.

But here are the facts: We don't need to Patriot Act to deal with this, and I don't think that 12 or 13 guys with guns drawn are needed.

I say that they give us a "bad name," I am saying that because she was on all these radio shows, including Alex Jones, bitching about the government, saying how she is innocent, etc. However, I do agree with you about the use of force.

He should get in trouble if he created any problems, but the way he was taken and the way he is being held is just plain wrong. When I was a kid, 13 years old (1986)--my friends and I figured out how to get credit card numbers from compuserve and ordered ourselves a bunch a stuff. Well, the FBI got involved and we all got a good stern yelling at---it turned out each of us were let go a few minutes after we cryed, AND they made sure our parents were ok with that.
None of us grew up to be criminals. Well, one guy is a bank manager now.
Anyway, point is, the way this case is being handled is what's wrong today. This kid was just being a goofball and he's being treated like a mass murderer. Actually, I don't think mass murderers are held without charge. Damn, this country's gone nuts.

Don't blame Mom. She probably didn't have a clue what jonny was doing on his computer. Mom's usually don't. My kid melted down the school's computer and I didn't know about it until our internet was cut off. He was bored and 16.

This kid sounds like he needs a life.

Did she know before they came and got him or after? She should have at least said that. Even if what they did was unconstitutional, she could have at least explained that. The kid still needs a life.
