"Something is wrong with me and I don't know how to fix it."

"How long will it go on? How long will the wall of silence stand? The first article is five years old. I’ve been told you have to talk around things. I’ve been told that I will get further if I am diplomatic. The truth is offensive apparently. You know how this makes me feel? It makes me feel as if someone is beating a child in an adjoining room. I am in the next room with a group of people who are concerned with child abuse. We are discussing how to make the world safer for children. We are also discussing who is abusing the children. Meanwhile a child is crying out in the next room. We can all hear him but we can’t talk about it because a certain group of people cannot be connected to this particular crime or… any crime."

I did not write this, but I sure relate to the author. My only "edit" would be to not lay blame on the previous administration, but in the Power Elite who work behind the scenes of all the "elected" officials.

Whatever is wrong with the author, I have that same problem.

7. Organize
8. Educate Ourselves
9. Love
10. Get Ready, for a revolution is coming. We either will see the education and transformation of the masses into a liberty minded people or a frightened mass fighting for bread. Either way prepare yourselves.

i think everyone on

i think everyone on dailypaul understands how this feels...

The slogan press on has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race. No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave.

- Calvin Coolidge

I guess

I am grateful that I am aware and can only hope in time others will be also.

It is the feeling of utter

It is the feeling of utter helplessness. For me it started with the MIAC Report. These almost 2 years I have learned all about the puppet masters. The MIAC Report was the culmination of everything I have learned since watching Freedom to Fascism almost 2 years ago. Until this report, it was as if I just was an observer. But now I was smack in the middle of the conspiracy. The federal government was calling me a terrorist simply because Ron Paul is my hero, I am a conservative, I believe in the right to life, and the Constitution.

And now I find out the federal government wants to take control of all of the water.

But what makes me feel the most helpless is that the majority of Americans are still asleep.

Right

The majority is still asleep. That's where the helplessness figures in for me.

and they get angry if you rattle their world view

I literally had a sister tell me she likes her "head in the sand."

My husband said "I hope she likes taking it in the rear, too, then." I love him - lol!

Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.

I literally had

a daughter tell me the same thing. She said she has a family to raise in this and she cannot do a thing about it and does not want to talk about it because it is scary and too depressing.

me too!

that rocked!!!

There is hope.

Which way is the trend going? Easy. More people are waking up than going to sleep and the hubris of those in power combined with you and I are the cause. There you go, hope. It's not false hope either.

Our local group is gaining a lot of clout. If it hasn't, yours can too. You're not alone. Fight your little battle. How? First grow your numbers by chasing "hot" leads first like any good salesperson does via the Campaign For LIberty and local Meetups. Using your energy to snare low hanging fruit first is the best way to grow your numbers until you're the cool kids in the big high school of life. You need a critical mass of like-minded people like you locally to make a difference. Each person's attributes will join with yours and others and you will be shocked as your efforts progress very quickly. When reminded about freedom, people respond slowly then more rapidly. Think of yourself as a freedom farmers. Gather your friends, plant seeds, add water and sunlight, then watch your crops grow. Freedom is a hearty plant once it takes, or retakes, root. ;-)

I'll add not everybody will ever agree with us completely even about things we think make basic sense. This is why we MUST focus on gathering our troops first. The Bandwagon Fallacy is real and it works. When you have a lot of people with you (and no you don't have to be one of the vocal ones if that's not your thing), people listen when they might not have otherwise. Look at H.R. 1207's success. Nothing breeds success like success or safety in numbers. People want to be with the winners. There was a time when nobody would have believed people would have gravitated away from the freedom message. We can restore that. It's happening. The tide has turned. Swim, swim, swim. The water is fine. C'mon in. ;-)
