He was actually steering them around a little too! He actually MSNBC commentators asking why we aren't talking about what we REALLY need to be doing. As in admitting that most of this crap is just spinning up as distraction from what the government really is doing.
I think this is also very subtle evidence that all organizations are just as human as any other. There is not ONE government, there is a collection of humans acting in concert and that concert is never completely harmonious. There are many factions and factions within factions and overlapping factions. :) This has all happened before and it will all happen again. The only way to change anything is to first realize that, so I think this was a fantastic public display.

The media likes him.
Despite the fact that his worldview is different than theirs. That's because of Ron's genial, professional manner. After a decade of people yelling at each other on talk shows, he's refreshing to everyone.

I love this interview
Joe made a point to tell everybody listening and Ron how right he was 5 years ago. That just made my night.
It Is You...
...who have made these people choose this approach when talking to Dr. Paul.
This is very far from the Joe Scarborough that called for all 9/11 twoofers to be tazered and sent to secret prisons.
But don't doubt for a second that it is anything more than to try to please all of Dr. Paul's followers; to let you have your moment. And maybe they could have some personal reasons too...
But having come that far as to influence these talking heads and their masters is a very big achievement.

my favorite part is anytime he mentions Keynes..."I would put it all on the shoulders of Keynes..."
I like to refer to him as "none other than John Meynard Keynes"...
While at my local tea party, a reporter asked me what I was protesting; and I responded "keynesian economics." She had no idea what I was talking about and I had to spell it out for her and give her an introduction.. I don't think I made the paper...

I enjoyed this interview.
One thing struck me, Ron sees *too* far into the future for many people to appreciate him in the present. He doesn't have a crystal ball or magic leaves, he simply has a well-educated mind. Considering that, I wonder how far off the crashing of the dollar could be. It appears as though a lot of people think it is going to happen tomorrow--next week at the latest--but if you consider how long it took for his housing bubble predictions to come true (four to five years) it could be a long way off. As and aside, if it takes several years of a deflationary depression, that would be closer in line with Bob Prechter's predictions than Peter Schiff's.
You are exactly right..
There are still people on here that believe gold and silver are being overhyped because "judgment day" hasn't arrived just yet. Rather than using all this time that Ron Paul has given us to warn people and to prepare, they would rather remind us every single day that "the day" hasn't come yet....but when that day does come, and it will, where will those people be?...soup lines or begging for the mercy of those of us who listened to the man.
We know what is coming, prepare, prepare, prepare...if it doesn't come in your time, then your kids will be educated and prepared....if it doesn't happen in their time..your grandkids will be educated and prepared....no matter what....these things will come to pass.
But always remember... "This too shall pass"....there will be a brilliant ending to all this, but it is up to us to see that our families and future generations are educated, aware, prepared, and educating others.
That is my task at hand.
