More attacks on RP from liberals is good

Did you guys see an episode last week when Lawrence O'Donnell was guest hosting this show and put Ron Paul, among Republicans, in the same Psycho-talk segment? Basically, he was talking about Socialism and attacking conservatives by showing clips of Hannity, Beck, Boehner, Ron Paul etc calling Obama's policies as Socialism. The key point about the Ron Paul clip was that, he showed Paul talking to Fox Business in October last year in the context of the 700 billion dollar bailout package from George Bush. Paul essentially said he cannot support the bailout bcos that is akin to socialism. I think this is good that the liberals are attacking Ron Paul, twice in two weeks, essentially confirming his stature in the Republican Party and the rise of his ideas as "proper conservatism". Sooner or later, other Republicans will be forced to accept his ideas and in a practical sense, defend Paul as a leading voice for individual liberty, free markets and limited government. Since they are in the attack stage (after ignore and ridicule stages), this is jolly good for Paul and his ideas. REJOICE GUYS.

P.S.- I am an Australian watching these clips from Sydney :-) and I am one of the biggest fans of Dr Paul.

Schultz currently considers

Schultz currently considers himself a "progressive liberal" and a "progressive independent" [1], however he identified as a Republican as recently as the mid 1990s[citation needed]. His talk show is generally considered to be a liberal-leaning program. He is pro-union and centers a large portion of his radio show on the "plight of working class Americans". In 2008, Schultz received $22,304 for his services from three separate AFL-CIO affiliated labor unions.[5] He has also repeatedly stated that he is a liberal Democrat willing to change political parties upon necessity.[

so, in other words, he's wiling to sell out to the highest bidder

I can't provide a citation but...

I work in radio in South Dakota and have coworkers who have both worked at the same station as Ed and worked in his market (Fargo) back when he was a Rush Limbaugh wanna-be. The people I know in the industry don't think very highly of Ed.

Mr Schultz

He reminds me of his name-sake on Hogan's Heroes: "I know Nuh-Thing! Nuh-Thing!"

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." ~ Margaret Mead

Blowhard Ed

I haven't seen Ed since he got his own program. But five minutes of him is a perfect illustration of the common sense principle,"you don't have to eat the whole pie to know it's bad".

"The constitution didn't call for traffic lights."

haha what? are you kidding me?

This statement is hilariously idiotic. Big Ed obviously doesn't know a damn thing about the constitution. It is very frustrating to see just how ignorant the talking heads can be.

As for the Dept of Ag comment: "...you don't want food safety, food security and a good food supply?" As if the DoA is responsible for the private production of these things. Or...maybe, just maybe, Ed is on to something. Could Ron Paul secretly hate food?!?!? That would be the ONLY explanation for this psycho talk.

Schultz is a successful example of

public school training. Inability to think and reason, fear of free choice and diversity of opinion. Oh my goodness, something that's not status quo -- that's "psycho."

Never heard of this guy....

Should call it the psycho Ed show...Not going to let this poor, uninformed man stir me up..............

First they ignore you, then

First they ignore you, then they ridicule you... I'd say we're making some GOOD progress!! For them to dedicate a slot to smearing and twisting reality and attack our guy, we're bothering SOMEONE! :-). And that can only be a good thing! Ed...who?

Oh, is he from the failed radio network that featured Al "Somnambulist" Franken and Janeane "Pre-Limbic-Brain" Garofalo?

Dr. Paul was on radio at least two times

last year with Ed Schultz on his radio show last year and in 2007. Why don't he have an interview with Ron Paul instead of just accusing him unjustified of "psycho-talk". Dr. Paul would be for local, state education and homeschooling, not no education.

Why don't we email Ed Schultz to have an interview with Schultz to discuss the issues (instead of simply attacking Ed). This will be a challenge he cannot refuse. He stated in the radio shows how positive the response from his audience was, so how can he be a psycho. Also, Republicans, despite their small govt. rhetoric, actuallly increased govt. in the past. Reagan, although he won two elections on the same rhetoric of ending the Dept of Education, increased the Dept of Education and Bush sr and jr even more so.

i agree but

i agree but i can already tell that if this loudmouth has Ron Paul on this show he will be rude and obnoxious and not allow our good doctor to get a word in edgewise.

never mind

Schultz is a coward and will not debate.

Schultz has engaged in a minor conflict with talk-show host Dennis Prager. Prager defended controversial comments made by William J. Bennett on the September 28, 2005 broadcast of his morning radio program, which Schultz characterized as being racist.
Prager asserted that Schultz had quoted Bennett out of context and Schultz challenged Prager to a debate. Prager accepted the challenge but Schultz never responded. No debate has taken place and the issue appears to be dead.

I listen to this moron when

I listen to this moron when I drive to the Twin Cities or Chi-town from Wisconsin. He is on Air America, the commie nation wide radio staion. Actually, it is only about 15 or 20 cities. They have gone banrupt at least twice. I wonder how much bailout/stealfromus money they got? I'd bet Millions. Air America was originally funded by Sorros and some of his hippie friends.

No offense, but...

You seem to have fallen for the idea that the neocon Republicans and communists are somehow different. It may be time to wake up. Soros funds "both sides" of the media manipulation of the false left/right paradigm along with his buddy Ailes.

Excuse me, I am still a reforming Sheeple. I thought Sorros was a Commie that only supported the left. So your telling me he supports Hannity and the like too? Wow, this keeps getting more overwhelming by the day. Well, thanks for the correction. I guess I still have much purging of the past to do.

Welcome to the Revolution,

Welcome to the Revolution, friend. Please feel free to ask ANY questions you may have. The only bad question is the one not asked. We're (mostly) all here to help.
