Officers fired after using STUN GUNS on CHILDREN aged FIVE TO SEVENTEEN
I cannot believe this.This is just horrible. US prison officers used stun guns on children aged five to seventeen!!

Three US prison officers have been dismissed and two others have resigned after 40 children in Florida were deliberately shocked with stun guns.
The incidents at two prisons occurred last month during a national day when people take their children to work.
In one case, a group of children were told to hold hands in a circle before one of them was shocked with a stun gun and the shock ran round the group.
No one was seriously hurt, but an official said it was "inexcusable".
In the other case in a second prison, children were given individual shocks.
The children, aged from five to 17, were all sons and daughters of employees of the Florida Department of Corrections.
Some parents had given permission for their children to receive the shocks, but this did not justify the actions of officials, said the department's secretary, Walter McNeil.
"We believe this behaviour is inexcusable," he said.
"I apologise to the children and parents. None of these kids should have been exposed to these devices."
He said that the circle shock demonstration was common practice during training classes for prison officers.
A stun gun delivers an electric shock intended to disable someone temporarily, without resorting to firearms.
These things can kill some people
young , weak, old or some neurological defect. Boom... Dead..
These are not non-lethal weapons. They should be charged with reckless endangerment of children and do some jail time.
The day will come when history looks back at tazers the way we look back at purification during the inquisition. Torture by ignorant men.

If a cop tazed my 5 year old kid I'd shoot him with a real gun
Or at least tie him up and take a few whacks to his head with a bat.
And I don't think that's an overreaction in the slightest.
I mean we're living in a torture state where tazers kill people and they use them on little kids anyways.
We got to start fighting back sooner or later or they'll be chipping and branding us like cattle.

I had one 5 year old I would have tazed (out of my 3 kids)
As it turns out he grew up to be the most like me. He's 34 now.

We did this
in school science class, probably in the 8th grade, back in the 60's. It's not the same as being tazed. Everybody thought it was a lot of fun. The teacher didn't use a stun gun to generate the electricity for the circle of students, but the concept is the same.
I remember something along these lines
The more people holding hands, it created a more or less rush of electricity. In other words it lessened the jolt.
These guys have too many Nazi toys and time on their hands.

What I can't believe
Is that these officers were disciplined at all. The police state is out of control and police know this and know they can can do whatever they want. Maybe the parents that gave permission to give their children shocks should account. Sounds strange.

also what kind of sick parents give permission shock their 5 year old child?
Of course they should be fired and prosecuted.
And the parents who consented should be fired as parents as well.
It is unusual when out of contol police are disciplined these days.
