This is from January. I'm not sure if it has been posted here. I just ran across it. It's pretty clever.

clever, yes...but so much more

it is totally appicable for the then war du jour (vietnam) and today's epic battles that include control of our minds as well as our countries...

this was way too specific to be coincidence, kudos to gene roddenberry, a true patriot who used the media to inform people the best that he could...where have all the heroes gone?

...long time passing

O Captain, My Captain, rise up and hear the bells!

its 'cos I owe ya, my young friend...
Rockin' the FREE world in Tennessee since 1957!

They have been silenced by the consolidation of media...

Consolidation is one of the tools to bring about world government. The bigger corporations get the more more power they have to destroy our liberty.

Superb!

The segment starting at 3:57 with Spock and transitioning to Greenspan was totally brilliant!

Funny you should post that.

I think of that Klingon quote toward the end all the time as the 9/11 debates rage: "Only a fool fights in a burning house."

I was quite a Star Trek fan. That quote stuck with me from my teenage years. I'm 43 now, so it is good that the dust is being wiped off that quote....and that episode, as they are certainly applicable here.

Debate can be healthy, but it is not all there is. We have wasted too much time competing.

There has been some good info, but the competition is not moving us forward. Instead of butting heads and staying in a rut, we need to be putting our heads together.

There are good questions and discussions taking place on the current 9/11 thread ..the one with the never before seen photographs. This is how it should be.

Jet fuel and office fires didn't cause what we are seeing. So what did?

Exploring and discussing possibilities without all the insults is certainly better seed and will yield a better harvest.

Thanks for this post.
