Barely four months into his presidency, Obama is confronting growing dissatisfaction among members of his liberal base, who feel spurned by a series of his early decisions on issues ranging from guns to torture to immigration to gay rights.
The list got longer last week as Obama reversed his earlier decision to release photos of detainees abused in U.S. military custody and announced plans to try some terror suspects before military commissions – though on the campaign trail he railed against earlier versions of the tribunals.
A few, like MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, have even hurled the left’s ultimate epithet – suggesting that Obama’s turning into George W. Bush...

I bet our president is having a tough time performing his duty. I think he must focus well on how to uplift the people from suffering that they are facing because of the economic crisis that we have. Luckily, there are financial aids that people could use as it respond to the financial needs of every one. At last, the CRL takes a stance with what resembles a common sense approach; a call to action regarding something to do with the problem. (Now we have to deal with the horsemen, the rain of fire, and the end of days.) The CRL, or Center for Responsible Lending, has taken aim at credit cards by sponsoring HR 627, or the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009. The Credit CARD Act, as it's called, could ensure more fairness in how card companies deal with customers, and limit things like hidden fees and retroactive interest rate increases. President Obama is on board. The CRL not going after installment loans and targeting an actual predatory lender – it's about time.

and that is why Rand was crazy like a fox to announce his candidacy on the Rachel Maddow show. We all could see the heartbreak over Obama coming a mile away and ... these people would be hurting ... and hopefully searching for something real ... and r3volutionary. ;-)

This is why
I wish the C4L would work at vetting Indy candidates that have Ron Paul's message. As an Indy, you don't have to go through party rules... all you answer to is the Federal Elections Commission and states..
What I fear, is that this course is going to be "Evolved" on the left FOR a global government, and we will be left with Obama holding onto what's left of the USA.

Hell, we knew it almost a year ago. Be careful what you wish for because you just might get it.
This seems to happen every cycle
All the dems (or repubs) are behind their man and slowly but surely they start to doubt his intentions and scorn his actions. No change.
Good read.
Hopefully the discontent won't ease too much if he throws a few bones their way on some of these issues -which he is bound to do.
Some on the left seem to be open-minded -like RM, who has been generous with the Paul family. Maybe we could all shed a few labels and get together to make some real change in this country.
These are the very people WE need to reach. They might not
know we even exist! They could potentially be the ones who penetrate the Democrat Party like we are doing with this GOP!
