Libertarian = Humanitarian
At a rally in Cheyenne, Wyoming on Oct 28 Ron Paul said:
"If you care about people, if you have any humanitarian instincts, and you want to make sure the maximum number of people have the maximum amount of prosperity, you have to vote for liberty."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qO7hmNpSA34
"If we lose our prosperity, and it's going down now...believe it or not...If we lost our prosperity but we had our liberties, we would be back on our feet in no time, and we would be prosperous."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07LUTjYJto4&feature=related
he took the words right out of my mouth
"The same people who say it will be a bloodbath if we leave are the same ones who said the war will be a cakewalk, over in six months, and the oil will pay for it. Why should we believe them? They have been wrong on everything they say."
and the oct 6 Nashville rally because I was there and it was amazing!!!!!!
I support a FLAT TAX....

this WAS a wonderful moment!
this WAS a wonderful moment!
I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it.

Yeah!!!
Yeah, that was priceless, I laughed my @zz off. Witty, a slam dunk in front of 10 million viewers.

After the democratic debates
Or when the democratic debates post-debate show was going on and all of the Ron Paul signs were behind the stage. I laughed so hard.

Dont forget when Bill Maher
Dont forget when Bill Maher said Ron was his new hero.
I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it.
Thomas Jefferson, 1791
actually my fave Bill Maher moment is...
When Maher said "This is someone I want to talk to a lot more." I was incredibly proud of RP right then, and also of BM (darn, hate to be stuck with those initials) for being man enough to admit he had made a big mistake and then set it right on TV like that. Very cool. It struck me as a genuine "conversion" confession moment.

What is begun in anger, ends in shame.
His appearance at Google.
His appearance at Google.
I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it.
Thomas Jefferson, 1791
I second that!
His appearance at Google, when it was obvious that there were people in the worlds biggest Pop culture company paying attention to Dr. Paul, is the biggest thing.
And that only leads into the phrase "Google Ron Paul!"
Google was a HUGE kick in the seat of the Internet - internationally too.
History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid.
Dwight D. Eisenhower
I just re-watched it
For anyone who has not seen it, it's long but VERY good.

has it. There's also a good video of a local afterparty with some interesting comments from Google employees.

Insanity
After one of the debates Dr. Paul was being interviewed by Hannity and Colmes, and Hannity was shocked that Dr. Paul was winning yet another post debate poll. Hannity said it could not be true and Dr. Paul said "You don't even beleive your own poll?' and Hannity said no. Dr. Paul looked like he was trying so hard not to fall down laughing.
I got chills
When I watched the video of Ron Paul addressing a crowd in Grand Central Station and he shouted down from the balcony "There is truly a revolution going on in this country!"

I also really liked the "message from Ron" email from Nov. 6th when he thanked us for the money bomb and wrote:
"As you and I know, and our opponents are only suspecting, we have Success on our minds, and in our hearts."
"the day is coming--far faster than they know--when they will not be able to ignore our freedom revolution."
the lawyer thing
After romney said he would talk to his lawyers about bombing iran
And ron paul said about how it baffled him and open up the constitution
I was a supporter for life.

I liked that one because...
...I was sitting about 40 feet from him when he said that. :-D
(The only network TV show taping I've ever been to, c/o a 46-hour round trip on Greyhound and a lucky lead on an advance ticket from an L.A. Ron Paul supporter -- thanks Eric!!)

Second thought
When Ron Paul said "Thank you for letting me be a part of your revolution".
"What does conservatism today stand for? It stands for war. It stands for power. It stands for spying, jailing without trial, torture, counterfeiting without limit, and lying from morning to night."

My Take
These things were all great, but I think we shouldn't lose sight of one important fact:
The best moments are yet to come!
GOT THAT RIGHT, bro!!!! But
