I think cutting entitlement programs is a far cry from euthanasia, however.
In fact, my own father was killed by languishing in hospitals and picking up all kinds of infections and poor treatment there...the doctors knew the government would be picking up the tab, and saw no reason to expedite his care. Another iatrogenic fatality.
In other words, there are better solutions than welfare; there are better solutions than Western medicine.
