Jesse = Independent

if Jesse Ventura runs in 2012 as Independent .... look out!
He speaks the freedom/liberty, non- intervention philosophy very well -

I will keep my eye on him .... he is Mr. "don't start the revolution without me" ... after all.

I've got $2,300.00 for him right now bookmarked

I'm ready

I like Block too. I wish C4L was seeking Indy's to support because being FREE from this duopoly party scene can't come too soon for me.

Keep America beautiful: GO INDY

WE ARE GOING TO WIN!

FOX is so predictable

They plaster the entire thing with anti-drug ads. They are trying to paint it as a nutty idea before you even see the video.

as much as i like ventura

he doesnt seem to critical of obama

I think Jesse

is giving Obomba a honeymoon period ....

just wait til 2010 and beyond (unless his actions change drastically)
my guesstimate.

The Obama Deception

have you seen The Obama Deception.

I've noticed that too, and

I've noticed that too, and I'm also a big fan of his. It might just be that he doesnt want to be used as a Faux news tool, although he was pretty pro-Obama on CNN too.

GRASS is greener if it's legal

YEA, this will surely solve ALL our finacial & social woes..

"Hemp is of the first necessity to the wealth and protection of the country." - Thomas Jefferson

"Prohibition will work great injury to the cause of temperance. It is a species of intemperance within itself, for it goes beyond the bounds of reason in that it attempts to control a man's appetite by legislation and makes a crime out of things that are not crimes. A prohibition law strikes a blow at the very principles upon which our government was founded."

He is allowing himself to be used as a distraction...

Again we get another distraction... and someone who should know better. He may be too full of himself to see beyond 'Jesse', and the fact that most Americans who are cult-snared into the status quo of the ballot box, need something less controversial to shift out of their cult mentality... definitely is not marijuana, when they hardly understand the constitution yet!

They simply need to see the connection of the constitution to their pain! KISS principle is the most applicable at this time, when we are running out of time and money and other resources!

To focus on the most radical interpretations of issues, to focus on issues applicable to the states only, is a huge distraction in favor of the CFR/NWO, who know already that we are running short on the time required to change the minds of the voter/electorate!

It apparently is quite simple to distract this site, and much of the grassroots, and divert them into any number of secondary channels, each with some merit politically, but with comparatively ZERO effect towards the winning of good statesmen, and alternatively, throwing out the bums, come ballot time.

That time is sooner than you think, and will creep up faster than you realize. One of two years has already past in the limited time left us to reach the precincts... for that is the central battle ground of ideology and change... the minds of the people. It is not found in the newspapers, the TV, the radio, the websites, or popularity contests, though all of those have merit. It is found in reaching personally each of the folks who live and work and hurt within the precincts we live. They are the majority, and they need help.

We have the potential of taking the simple reasons they hurt, and placing that reason before their eyes! Find the best tactic and start cloning the grassroots... get off the computers (except to further this aim), turn off the TVs and radios, and find the ways only you the grassroots can and have proven, and start inventing again just like the last election, to clone more of ourselves out of the roots which need nourishment in our precincts!

This is possible... it can be done, it has been done in the past.

Elections have nearly been won with less than 30K in a budget for a whole Congressional district, simply by taking all the resources and hitting the streets of the precincts, with folks who know the reason for their pain!

More on this may be posted here in the future...

Why doesn't anyone mention Portugal?

In Portugal they legalized all drugs and as a result there was less addicts.

I submit that an individual who breaks a law that conscience tells him is unjust, and who willingly accepts the penalty of imprisonment in order to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is in reality expressing the highest respect for

portugal decriminalization

While the results in Portugal are good or even great, they didn't "legalize" it.

Portugal decriminalized possession, which still allows for small civil penalties and doesn't allow for you to start selling big quantities of heroin.

Having been to Portugal,

I can tell you that drug addicts from all over Europe hang out in Lisbon begging and stealing for a fix. It was sad and frightening. Burn-outs everywhere -- quite a few were from the UK.

Decriminalizing drugs is a great idea. Too bad the rest of the EU didn't follow. Lisbon might not have become such a toilet.

Ron Paul "Sign Wave Across the USA" -- November 5th!

Having lived in a suburb of

Having lived in a suburb of Lisbon, I can say it has always been dirty and sometimes dicey. There are nice areas, but not the best city for raising a family unless you dramatically reset your expectations.

Soft drugs are decriminalized in The Netherlands, and it works for them. The authorities aggressively go after those dealing hard drugs.

Addicts hang around and beg and steal. That's what they do. I've seen them hang out and shoot up in nice parks in Switzerland. It's sad when the only vein they can hit is in their neck.

Drug use, and particularly use of hard drugs and alcohol abuse, take a huge toll on user's lives and on their families and society. Is it more humane to incarcerate someone for possession or to put those funds toward prevention and recovery?
The compromise in The Netherlands seemed to work when I lived there.

thank you

His logic is too simple

Thomas Jefferson once said, "The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground."

Well, I guess he called that one.

Jesse who??

Oh yeah....wasn't he one of those wrestler guys pumped up on steroids?

Yep, and he's on a ROLL now!

Governor ventura

why are you hating on jesse?
i don't know you but i'm guessing your disdain for Mr. ventura has something to do with 9/11?

The youtube one is incomplete.

Yep

The Fox video has also a part on torture. And Geraldo says at the end that what Jesse says "makes sense" to him!
