"Don't Bash Campaign for Liberty" . . . My
Response

I received this letter from an undoubtedly well
meaning lady after my email against the most
recent so-called action plan (beg Nancy Pelosi
for a favor) of the Campaign for Liberty.

I have changed the lady's name for the purpose of
this Network America E-wire.

Here is the email I received:

Dear Jim Condit Jr.

I share your concern about election integrity.
But I don't appreciate you
bashing the Campaign for Liberty. Citizen groups
need to support each other
for the good work they are doing, compliment each
other, and work together.
This sense of division and competition you are
promoting is not inspiring,
and not something I care to support or be
associated with. I suggest you
find a way to promote your work in a way that
doesn't detract from the good
work of others.

Cathy

End of this email ------ here's my response:

Cathy --

The Ron Paul for President Top Paid Staff are
counted by me and many others as the greatest
traitors in America today. If you care to explain
to me where $24 million (of the $34 million
raised) went that we all donated to the Ron Paul
campaign to enable a big media fight with the New
World Order crowd behind W. Bush and Obama --
then I'm interested in listening.

Lew Moore "disappeared" the $24 million. No radio
or TV ads in any state after NH -- and those NH
ads were sabotage ads -- which I hear Lew spent
$4 million on producing !!!

Campaign for Liberty looks like a continuation
Lew Moore's work, -- of running good people's
efforts into a ditch. They have 21,000 people who
volunteered for precinct that they are bottling
up -- and not even telling the people who
volunteered what to do -- as my video "The
Strangest Political Secret" (at
WagTheDog2010.com) does.

Our efforts will provide a standard by which the
Campaign for Liberty will be exposed and held up
to ridicule -- if they don't quickly shape up.

Ron Paul needs to fire the GOP Neo-Con retreads
who are running it -- and put in charge men like
Paul Garfield of Michigan, or countless others
who were ostracized, ruthlessly excluded, and
stepped on as they tried to support Ron Paul - by
Lew Moore and his chosen paid staff.

Sorry, Cindy, we disagree on this one. The
country can't afford another 4 years of phony
opposition leaders running the sincere patriots
into a ditch. And at the top of the list of de
facto "phony opposition" operations diverting
both money and effort right now - is the Campaign
for Liberty. They are doing what Obama and the
GOP leaders cannot do - get the trust of
patriots, waste their time, misdirect their
efforts, and siphon their money out of the fight
into dead end, hopelessly ineffective directions.

Jim Condit Jr.

This is really critical information for us

As far as I'm concerned, C4L invites these attacks when it fails to show where the money is going. Obviously, we are people who like to know how our money is being spent, both in Washington and at C4L!

Plus, John Tate's latest scheme to charge us hundreds of dollars to present Nancy Pelosi with a petition is downright seedy-seeming and baffling. Since when does it cost money to send a petition? If they REALLY want her to get a long list of names on that petition, why this big deterrent? Are they going to slip her a few hundred thousand dollars "lobby money" to sweeten the deal?

I love Ron Paul. I don't like C4L.

Their website is awful, too. Very dark and difficult to interact with, but their requests for suggestions for its improvement went unheard.

Research

What was spent is a matter of public record. You can look all of these answers up online, I believe.

A presidential campaign is not something many people have ever dealt with, and the Ron Paul campaign went like a runaway train. I'm not sure very many individuals would have been able to optimize our resources as well as the free market did!

The next campaign will benefit from what we all learned and we'll make a whole new set of mistakes, I'm sure.

Jim Condit makes many good points

could we get some sort of investigation going?

"How can we justify to the unemployed and underemployed in the United States the incredible cost of maintaining a global empire?" - Dr. Ron Paul

Wonderful response which hits the nail right on the head. Saboteurs, like Lew Rockwell must be exposed. Unfortunately, for Dr. Paul, longtime political relationships like his and Rockwell's have a tendency to go on unabetted and adversely affect one within the relationship (i.e. RP). Today, insofar as Lew Rockwell is concerned, Ron Paul cannot see the forest for the trees.

I meant Moore not Rockwell.

Sorry Lew Rockwell.

Lew MOORE

Read first, then reply.
Lew Moore is a traitor, I know it without a doubt.
My friggin' hands hurt to much to bother with this crap any more, but I won't let this go. Jim Condit asks good questions. Lew Rockwell asks good questions. Lew MOORE was a back-stabbing traitor, and Ron Paul has never explained that situation at all.

Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.

You know he's a traitor?

Interesting. Can you elaborate at all?

the expenses

Fortune Favors the Bold

are a matter of public record. I think well intentioned people underestimate the amount of money it takes to run a campaign.

Fortune Favors the Bold

Where can we access them?

I'd love to be able to check that out.

You forgot to change her name

in the body of your response.

Yeah, I agree, the official campaign was so bad that it was hard to believe it wasn't a sabotage job. I was in N.H. and the adds they ran there were so ineffective and irrelevant that I couldn't help but cringe.

Jesse Benton should be held accountable too...

fair enough

Fortune Favors the Bold

but i can see the strategy they were going for. The immigration ads were targeted at mccain, who was the leader in New Hampshire.

That was an interesting

That was an interesting read...

Who's who?

Jim Carter are you Jim Condit?

If you are Jim Condit your points are well taken. I rarely go to C4L's web site- it's beyond pathetic- out of date stories, frames, unattractive appearance (like a junior high school kid made it) ugh.....what a pain web site.

I thought C4L was an all volunteer effort.

Lol, I agree with you

The C4L website is pretty ugly. If I worked for them I'd pay to have it designed by someone with good skills. And ya, I also never go there. The DP is where I go for my info!

I thought Nystrom

had something to do with that website. I was excited at first because I thought it would be as good and interactive as this one and might even replace this one, but, whoops, no dice.

Interesting point...

what DID happen to all that money?

--------
Fossils Rock!

'Cause there's a monster on the loose

Good question

It should be still in the C4L coffers. Unless this Lew Moore ran off with it.
