Synopsis... Gay is bad, Christianity is good, can I have money for a new monkey.
Until people learn a little tolerance (things like freedom of religion means freedom of ALL religions) this will never end, I'm afraid.
It will always be the politically correct group holding a stick over the minority groups.. exactly what the bankers intended. Grouping to control.
Blah.

Political Correctness and the inability to stand up for what you believe is bad...
I still have the right to know and say that gay is wrong, should I infringe on others because they are gay?..absolutely not. Freedom for all or freedom for none. But I'm still allowed to disagree with the choice just as I can disagree with an athiest but still have the common goal of freedom.
Christianity is good for those who practice it, and not agreeing with all other religions isn't exactly bad or intolerant. Should I give up all my beliefs to please everyone?..nope..that is exactly their goal and the American people are falling for it hook line and sinker.
We can want freedom for people of all religions and lifestyles, but that doesn't mean we can't speak out when we believe that it is wrong. Of course that is why we have hate crimes bills coming at us left and right so that we don't have to bicker on this small point. We'll all just go to jail if we speak up about what we consider deviant lifestyles.
As far as the monkey goes, I think they set up a chip in for her as a gift, I don't see anywhere that she asked people to buy her a new monkey.

Of course this is only my humble opinion and I mean no offense towards you for your thoughts on the subject. It seems you have to clarify that around here lately or it turns into a catfight when people don't agree. :O)

I'm concerned about the Hate Crimes bill, of course... we all should be. However, I see some good things recently in Oklahoma... perhaps soon we won't have to worry about Federal jurisdiction!
